HireVue for Candidates

If you’re recording a answer and you receive a phone call in the middle of it that attempt. That attempt is lost and if it’s your last attempt it submits nothing. Terrible.

I decided to use this app to do my interview. I decided to practice first and after 1 question it asked if I wanted to keep keep practicing or proceed to the interview. I made sure to click keep practicing but it took me to the actual interview without my consent or knowledge. Now all my mistakes and outtakes which shouldn’t even have been recorded are now sent to the company. Thanks a lot HireVue for screwing me out of a job I really wanted.

It’s easy to install and use. Like the sample interview and all the tips it gives prior the real interview. I did experience a bit of difficulty when I was overseas. The video would not DOWNLOAD, but it is more to do with the regional registration rather than the app itself. Once I returned to Canada, the video downloaded just fine.
