Hit Em Up: Mass Text Bulk SMS

Update 5/8/2025: I highly doubt not appreciate the developer’s response. Who starts with “firstly” in a nice way? I never said I would be charged without a subscription. When you go to the tiers, it only lists two paying ones. There is zero information about a free version. So it is not unthinkable for me to think that there is a free version when I am receiving notifications daily about how my “free trial is ending” that I have never signed up for anything and have used this app for years. I seem to not be the only one complaining about this recent change. So yes, it is new. Oh but when I log in today, my free trial now ends in six days. Even though I received a notification this morning that my free trial ended four days ago. Which is it? The notification I received literally said to subscribe now or I will lose my groups. Why would I lie about this? What do I possibly have to gain from lying? So do not tell me “no.” I know what I saw in the notification. It sounds as if, the founder does not actually know what is being pushed out to people by the response I received. —————————-I am not a fan of this app anymore and will be searching for a new one. I have been using it for years and the past couple of days, I keep getting notifications on how my free trial is almost up. I was very confused since I have used it for years and never signed up for a trial? So I looked into this and it appears to now be a paying app on a subscription basis and so everyone that has been using the app is screwed over? The latest notification is how today is my last day and I need to subscribe or I lose my groups. Listen, I understand how apps need to charge sometimes to stay in cycle, but I do not appreciate the threat of you must pay or you lose all of your stuff that you have had for years. Especially without any notification or option to have a reduced rate for those who have been with the app with years. Plus, the last time I used it, I had to send each message individually. For all that, I can go into my texts and do that. I do not need an app for that. For this reason, I will gladly give my money…to someone else.

I used to like the app. But for some reason the minute they changed the cost of it the slower it got. What used to take me 10 minutes to send 200 or 300 text messages or emails now took me 45 minutes.

Update: the reason I looked for your product is I had just attended the celebration of life for my very dear friend, and his widow was going to receive a guest book with the incomplete and scribbled entries of the names and addresses of friends, family, and co-workers that had attended. I volunteered to do a printable contact list for her and get it out to everyone. Your product made the distribution easy and free! Plus, anyone can easily update it and send it out if they want. Thanks again! As a technology Luddite,the task of sending one text out to multiple people was way over my pay grade. Attaching a spreadsheet to a text requires even more skills and expertise I don’t have. Well, I’m here to tell you that this app does that and a lot more. And if I can do it as a 74 year old guy who’s been retired for almost 13 years, you can too! Customer support is amazing. They opened up a chat and walked me through the process one step at a time and had a lot of patience with me. Hit ‘em Up! is a truly amazing company with a great product and good well trained people!

Excellent App. I wish there was a feature where you can press the send button once and all the messages are sent. That's the only issue I have.

Easy to create if you have a common name in each of your contacts. Unfortunately, you still need to hit an individual send for each contact also.

A+ this does exactly what I want it to do for me! Great features and settings. Very well made app.

Tried multiple times to cancel and they would not let me. It billed for annually instead of monthly. There chat support is awful

Can an I individual in the group respond to all easily?

I have paid yearly for this app. I love how personal it is and how easy it is to send out messages to groups of people, but then also make them personal as I’m sending them out. For me it has been just the right amount of money paid yearly for a quality product that allows me to communicate with friends and family and people in my nonprofit. Super grateful!
