Días festivos

Excellent app if you need to know the holidays for different countries. Useful for business and travels. I use it since 2013 without problems. It is necessary give it access to your calendars (app) because it work with the calendar app from apple (with its data base) but this have a lot of benefits to be compatible with others apps (i use also CalAlarm2 instead apple app). Using the same database that apple calendar app you can use icloud to sync to other devices. I sync with 7 different models without any problem for years.

It requests access to my calendars on the first open. Since I don’t trust what will do to them (I definitely don’t want it to write on them) I didn’t allow it. There’s no functionality whatsoever if you don’t let access to calendars, only a screen with a lock. Deleted in a heartbeat.

I’ve been using it for years with no problems. Yes there is charge but it’s 99 cents a year—a definite bargain to have various categories of holidays and more inserted right into my calendar. Just bought next year’s.

The grammatically correct spelling is Fêtes canadiennes. Capital letter only on first word and plural also on second word.

This App is deceptively free. The calendars are part of the in app purchase options which is pointless if the app is supposedly free. How else are you supposed to get the calendar you want?

I use this app in combination with Pimp My Calendar. I appreciate the range of countries covered because I want to send holiday cards to overseas friends. It is also useful for professional people and businesses. It can help prevent delays in communications due to unfamiliar national holidays. An app with detailed information on the religious holidays of many should also be considered. This app is well worth the investment for most people and a good Social Studies learning tool for students.

I’m a Christian so I celebrate Christmas, but I wanted to know what other holidays are celebrated around this time of year. This app made it so easy to link to my calendar and upload all of these holidays from a BUNCH of different religions. My only suggestion is to include a small synopsis of each holiday. In a world where differences and acceptance is celebrated, I think it’s important for everyone to go the extra mile to truly include everyone.

Warning: first you need to pay for the app but to add calendar entries for the next year you need to pay again.

There are holidays missing on the calendars. Moreover there is an issue with the synchro between the app and the calendar
