Holy — Christian Dating App

I had hoped for this as a Christian dating app, but it is total garbage. Doesn’t match with anybody nearby, even though I keep updating the settings. In fact, it matches me with literally the farthest the way people. I am in California and it keeps trying to match me with people in Florida!!! I complained to customer support and they did nothing about it and said that’s just how it is

Why is the verification taking sooo long ?

Update: after being on dating apps for 6 months I found my person. We’ve dated from June until now and he proposed last week. I felt it Important to include the first sentence because I wanted to make sure anyone reading this realized it was not a fast process to find him. It took time and I had been on the dating apps way longer than he had been. What I appreciate about the holy app was people who are intentional in filling out their profile and that’s what I loved about my fiancé. He was thorough and honest with lots of clear pictures on his profile. Sometimes these apps Can be frustrating, but I’m here to share that it is in fact possible, and I honestly didn’t think it was. He’s an amazing and handsome man of God who I have so much in common with. I say all that not to brag, but to share that it is possible to find someone that you are attracted to and someone that can be genuine and trustworthy. I found my best friend and love of my life and the Holy app and I’m so grateful. Older/original post: I wish the persons denomination was at the top of the profile instead of having to scroll down some. I don’t want to take interest in someone/ get my hopes up if they don’t have the same beliefs. I also wish I could select which states I can view. There’s places outside of where I live that I would be open to move to if I found the right person.

I was so unbelievably skeptical of getting back on the apps. I was lucky to be a part of the app growing and starting off. I talked to a few gentleman at first but was just myself and let God handle it from there. I loved the Bible verses and support the creators included in this journey and I met an amazing man. God’s hands have been on us the whole time and we are so grateful for the Holy app. I was perfectly ok with getting to know someone 4 hours away because it was pure and easy and loving from the beginning. I have this app to thank and the couple who created it. Thank you so much. 🙏🥰

I was very excited to find a dating app for Christians. But it would only give me a few matches within 100 miles of me the first cycle of matches. Then everyone after that for the next week would be over 300 miles away. When I contacted them for help with this, I was told to expand my preferences to further away. But that was the point of using the app, to find someone closer to me. Preferences didn’t seem to do anything for who you were matched with.

Can’t create an account cause my phone number isn’t recognized. Until I can create an account I’m left out in the cold. Ain’t going to change my cell phone carrier for this app! This is the only place that it has been unusable!

App was okay it’s just my account got messed up and they blocked me from everything when I didn’t do anything wrong. I tried to contact them but they take forever to respond. They only respond once a day and yesterday they just straight up left me on delivered when you can see they clearly were active. Only had one week of experience on this app btw! So at that point I just deleted my whole profile on there because what’s the point when they want let me message or anything.

God is glorified and it makes the process of searching more meaningful because it’s all about him.
