Homemanager for Homebridge

I was anxious to give this a try and got stuck on the setup because 2FA is not support for Homebridge. I am hoping this is temporary, so I will leave it installed waiting for an update. I certainly don’t want to remove my security layer.

I updated my Hoobs box to v4. Reinstalled Homemanager ( basic) and setup. Seemed ok but it randomly gets stuck at the purchase option screen. Shows I have basic purchased install but no way to return to the main screen. Hitting purchased did nothing. Restore purchase cycles but does nothing. No option but to delete the app and start over.

When will you have subject?

First off, this works beautifully. It connected to home bridge easily and have most of the functionality. It worked correctly and I have not yet encountered any bugs. However, there’s a few things that can still improve. First off, the UI is slightly unintuitive (perhaps inherited from Homebridge). The lack of common, recognized UI buttons makes it a bit of trial and error to figure out some parts of the navigation. Secondly, there doesn’t appear to be a terminal for homebridge (or I wasn’t able to find it). It is important for homebridge to have terminal access, so it was a bit weird to find that I don’t have it. Finally, the pricing structure was slightly weird. Kudos on the developer for providing a 14 days trial before forcing you to buy, but I’m not sure anyone really needs Pro. Unless you’re managing multiple houses, you’re unlikely to have more than 1 server, and I can’t really think of a time when you’d have more than one instance of homebridge in a server. If you’re in the demographic with 2+ servers and 4+ instances each then I guess that’s right up your alley. The other item exclusive to pro is “access to all iOS 14 widgets”, which despite purchasing pro myself is something I’d like to see on basic instead. If you’re willing to spend a few bucks on this app then I think it’s pretty worth it.

It’s a great app , nice interface , easy to understand and use ... I love controlling Hoobs from my iPad and iPhone. The best part is that I needed some info from support and guess what ... shortly after I did get the answer so I wrote back and ... bang ! There he goes again. So even if you have a great product workforce is a must. So good product comes from great people and they sure are great ... thanks Ron !

It’s very easy to use and to manage everything from the app. I’ve been looking for something like this to restart/stop the server or add/remove things on the fly. No glitches or issues. Works great!

Es hat nicht funktioniert, das Prg hat die Bridge nicht installieren können auch nicht mit manueller Eingabe🤷🏼‍♂️!

Benutze die App seit bestehen und sie funktioniert einfach Top. Übersichtlich gestaltet, schnell zu konfigurieren und alle Infos sind perfekt platziert. 5 Sterne, wohl verdient!

Ich finde die App super! Sehr praktisch, dass man ohne weiteres schauen kann, wie es dem System geht und auch Plugins konfigurieren kann. Für Zukunft wäre ein Widget super oder Push-Mitteilungen, die auf Updates oder Probleme hinweisen Großes Lob, dass kein Abo angeboten wird, super, dass ich meine Funktionsumfang mit einem einmalkauf erwerben kann
