The app has a nice look to it and some great features. The ability to easily add a variety of media to your inventory items is so awesome, and it’ll even search the web for manuals after you add the make and model. Their customer support is excellent, you can message them in-app about bugs and feature requests (not sure if there’s a tech team or if it’s the developer) and they are helpful, respectful, and open to suggestions. They seem to be adding new features often and always trying to improve based on user feedback, which is awesome. I’m looking forward to using it more!
App is great for keeping things organized. Really hope there is a dark mode added. The menus could also be a bit simpler. Seems like you have to go many levels down to see an item.
I 've been using the Homer app for quite some time now, and it has genuinely revolutionized the way I manage and organize my home. The standout feature for me is definitely the warranty tracking and receipt management. It's a breeze to keep track of various warranties and receipts for my home items, ensuring I never miss out on services or guarantees. What sets Homer apart is its cutting-edge AI search assistant. This feature is incredibly user-friendly and efficient, quickly providing relevant links, support contacts, and manuals for a wide range of items. It's like having a personal assistant at your fingertips, dedicated to keeping up to date documentation on the items in your home. While I haven't had much use for the AI help with items feature, I appreciate its inclusion, as it adds another layer of convenience for users who might find it beneficial. The developers behind Homer deserve a special shoutout. They are continually evolving the app, adding new features that enhance user experience and functionality. Their commitment to improvement is evident, and it makes a significant difference in the app's overall performance. I highly recommend Homer to anyone looking to streamline their home inventory and warranty tracking. It's user-friendly, feature-rich, and is a beautiful looking app. If you're on the fence about trying it, I urge you to take the plunge – you won't be disappointed!
I have used the app for a while and have subscribed to support the developers and got further development. The support is it responsive and new features come out pretty regularly. Good things: - Great organization and customization capabilities with tagging and folders. - Beautiful UI and icons. - Helpful templates and wizards. - Useful AI and automatic searching features for manuals and item information. - Tasks, lists, and timeline are great. Bad things: - Viewing items UI is difficult to navigate and you end up searching for items always. Need to rethink navigating and finding items. - No dedicated desktop or iPad app. You can use the mobile app on Apple silicon desktop but that’s limiting.
Cannot get past first screen.
Hands down the best organizational app. I use this for everything. keeping on top of your home maintenance, item warranty, receipts and filing, health documents..just about anything. Extra points for how seriously they take privacy. Now I won’t forget when I need to renew car registrations, change filters, and won’t lose my receipts during tax season.
I’m impressed with how easy and powerful this app is. I didn’t have a good system for organizing manuals, warranty info, receipts and the like. Now I do. Whenever I wanted to find information about one of my appliances I kept having to figure out model and serial numbers over and over again. Now I don’t. Homer works well and I’m happy.
First day of use and it started to give me wrong owners manual. When I reported the bug to developers I got the ridiculous response that as the app is free it’s kind of expected and issues might be there. When I reported a bug they should be happy that I am helping them. If they decide to put free app how can put a price on it. It was ridiculous bad excuse for brand new app. Account and app deleted.
Precis det jag letat efter. Allt på en plats
