Beschreibung

HomeRun 2 puts the power of HomeKit onto your wrist and Home screen with complications and widgets that do what you need them to do, when you need them to do it.
Leveraging the power of those complications and widgets, HomeRun 2 lets you quickly tap the action that best suits you without being bogged down by a list of arbitrary actions.
Simply, HomeRun 2 is a distraction-free way to make full use of HomeKit's actions and scenes when you need them most.
----
POWERFUL, CUSTOMIZABLE GRIDS
Grids let you set up groups of actions and scenes that best suit you. You could create a grid with actions you're likely to need during an evening and another for working at home. And that's just the start.
CUSTOMIZABLE APPLE WATCH COMPLICATIONS
Apple Watch is the computer you always have with you, making it the perfect HomeRun 2 companion. Beautiful complications can be set up to offer custom actions and each one can be configured to switch design and action over time. Configuring complications has never been easier thanks to a gorgeous new interface.
Have a complication show your early morning scene button when you wake up, but your movie night scene when it's time to kick back and relax.
HOME SCREEN WIDGETS
Home screen widgets are designed the way you want them to be, offering only the actions you choose. Available in three sizes, widgets can be used for single actions or a whole grid of them – the choice is yours.
ROUTINES
We all have our own routines and HomeRun 2 make sure Apple Watch's Siri watch face knows all about them. Choose actions that are best suited to particular times of the day and Siri will surface them on your Apple Watch when you're using the Siri watch face.
CUSTOMIZATION
Home screen widgets and Apple Watch complications need to fit your aesthetic. That's why HomeRun 2 offers thousands of icon choices and an endless supply of color combinations. Let your creative side run wild!
----
Some features require HomeRun Plus, an optional in-app purchase that unlocks:
- Multiple grids for use on in the iPhone and iPad app.
- Widgets for putting actions and scenes onto your iPhone and iPad Home screens.
- Multiple configurable complications per type for added flexibility on Apple Watch.
- Even more icons to choose from when customizing your action buttons – SF Symbols and Emoji are available free.
Monthly and annual subscriptions are available, as is a lifetime purchase that unlocks everything for a one-time fee. Family Sharing is also supported, giving your entire family access to everything HomeRun 2 has to offer at no additional charge.

Too buggy to use

Mynameisted on

Used to love v1 but v2 is buggy and unusable. The complication editor with the draggable rings around the clock doesn’t respond smoothly to touch and the icons sometimes appear in random places. There are no available scenes from the action set or grid options when I try to select what I want each segment to do. This is not to mention that it is super tedious to set up actions in the first place, needing to set up each scene THREE times if I want common actions to appear in a grid, widget, and complication.

Not dependable, app or Apple - who knows

I use HomeRun primarily to allow me to control lights in my bedroom at night when my phone is not handy. Randomly the watch app stops working. The period of the random behavior can be weeks or a couple of months . But it occurs and there is no obvious way to figure out why it is failing. Typical of apps these days. Just FYI

Overengineered junk

All I want to do is make a lamp turn on at a given time. Neither the Apple Home App nor this subscription-based third party app can manage that simple request. Brilliant.

Grabbed this to set up a HomeKit widget in my iPhone. Generally works well but it doesn’t let you actually use text to label your widget buttons, just a single icon. I have four buttons that control different lights and for the life of me I can’t keep track of which icon does what.

Complications

I cannot get the complications to work at all. I can’t even figure how they're supposed to work. How about some instructions?? I can find anywhere at all. All I can set up is the HomeRun app icon as a complication - the infograph complication doesn’t work. Update: thanks for the response, Developer. A reboot did the trick. I’m still figuring out how to set the complications to change over time (I’ll get there in the end, but some instructions somewhere would have been welcome…!). Nice app though.

Dev bit off more than they could chew on v2

The original version of this app was probably the most used app on my watch, so I was excited to grab this sequel to it. Sadly, this one needed a bit more time in beta. There are several annoying interface bugs, including it being nearly impossible to arrange actions in your grid, and glitches on the complication ring schedule tool (if you rotate things enough the icon in the arc will start glitching around). Several other features just straight up don’t work despite restarts and reinstalls. Fingers crossed this gets ironed out, but I’d hold off on a sub until it gets polished.
