Homeworld Mobile

The game used to crash every hour or so, which was tolerable. After update 1.7, it crashes every 3-5 minutes, and is completely unplayable. I would not have spent so much money if I had known that the devs would just pretend like the problem does not exist. 1.7 rolled out in August 2023. It is now January 2024, and a few updates later, the only change has been the increasingly aggressive monetization and adding of more bloat while completely ignoring the crash issues. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THIS MESS.

The game is really fun and super interactive. Biggest and only complaint is how cumbersome the UI is. If there were options to scale it down and not fill the screen I think this would be far more enjoyable.

I wish that Homeworld would do and that is make a game kindly like stellar with a little of Star Wars Empire at war.

I started to get into the whole Homeworld franchise roughly 3 months ago. After watching the original HW game then HW2 and later HW Deserts of kharak, I started to love the game by which it takes place and the story behind the Hiigarans. I was later introduced to Homeworld mobile which got me even more excited as I learned this game takes place 15 years after the events of HW2. Being a mobile game I have found it most entertaining and although there’s been minor issues from log in crashes, minor crashes while playing or moments of non clarification within the game, I’ve still enjoyed the game immensely. Yes in the beginning you are thrown in the game with little to no explanation of the basic mechanics and later have to figure out what is what. But for me as a player within games, I enjoy learning as I go and I like to get creative with how I play within a game. Being a sci-fi lover and geek, the creative approach of building your own fleet and having to manage your stuff, staff and over all upgrades appeals to me. To me, I get to role play how I want and imagine how I would lead my fleet within Homeworld lore. So before you judge this game because of its technical issues, really give it a chance and you’ll see, this game is wonderful and beautiful at its core!

Gotten a little ways into the game, but now every time I do a certain mission it crashes. And it’s necessary to do it to unlock features in the game. 😑

Was very excited to find this on Facebook and have enjoyed thus far but the game crashing constantly is killing the vibe. Is there a way to play this on a PC because it’s sucking majorly in the IOS platform of the iPhone.

Won’t go past the first screen after login

I am very disappointed for game this caliber to be unplayable due to constant crashes. Home world has been one of my favorite since the first game released on PC by Relic. I don’t recommend this game at current state of the game especially a game you do pay for in game items but you can’t really play it for more than 5 minutes.

Fix this game and tutorial is awful I have to check in YouTube with no guides to do and starter ship is awful. Hoping Homeworld 3 PC in 2024 is at least better for 20 years of waiting. Also, this game is not free and is pay to win with micro transactions which makes the game worse for rich people to pay their way through the game for giant rich cows and whales to push through the game much quickly than a normal player who does not pay or is poor. Also, why does my outer spaceships does damage to the enemy before the projectiles does hit before hitting the enemy? Do you what I'm referring or understanding what I am saying? It's like breaking a glass window before throwing a rock in midair which does not make sense and is violating the laws of physics. I give the game 3 stars and also the combat gameplay gets somewhat boring and needs more of an action thrill suspense and want a close up view of my spaceships' cannon firing to the enemy ships. It is a good game but not excellent.

This game is buggy. I have to quit and restart the game multiple times when playing as screen locks up and can’t complete mission or action I am doing during the game. I didn’t have issues in beginning of the game but seems since chapter 14 maybe 15 have to many times restart game.
