HORUS Ballistics

Completely worthless app probably designed Mr. Horus’ nephew. It keeps flipping orientation and won’t let you register. Really,really worthless. Zero stars. Complete failure.

This is a handy ballistic calculator for any scope, but especially useful if you use Horus reticles. Lots of helpful tools and references for using the Tremor reticle. If you have the Horus range finder and weather meter, it makes for an easy to use ecosystem of tools for beginners and intermediate shooters. Expert-level shooters may find the app a bit too basic for their liking, but the price is right to keep it in the toolbox.

I don’t know why they’d make StrelokPro and the others remove their reticle just to make people use this junk. It’s like they want to make it difficult for people with their reticle. If I’d known that this was such a challenge I would have considered a different scope honestly. This app doesn’t have half the library of bullets it needs. I can’t even use it because gold medal match 308 isn’t in it which is some of the most common ammo used in competition. Hope they realize that it’s ok for the better apps to put their reticle in it. You’re a reticle company, not an app developer. Just stick to what you’re good at.

I’ve tried countless times get this combo to function together. A bit of a mess.

Perfect example of how someone can make simple and useful thing stupid complicated. My head really hurts.

downloaded it, registered with a new account…. then cant even log in using that account.

I'm seriously looking at getting a scope with the Tremor 3 reticle. I'd like to checkout the calibration process but this app requires me to register before I can use it. It's suposed to be free and maybe it is. But I don't need another account and password just to use a scope if I decide to by it ( and that's not looking too good right now). Seem if they want you to buy the scope they make this avaible with out an account.

Couldn’t get the registration to work for the app. Entered the ballistics data for my rifle and load into the app a mentor has on their computer, and the aim point was nowhere even close on the scope I bought 6 years ago from Horus. My mentor tried to get better results, without success. Used to be a great company, but I guess things have changed, and not for the better. I have a match Saturday, and even as I’m writing thus review, my coach is removing the Horus scope from my rifle.

Poor interface, constantly crashes on my iPhone, and forget about using it without any phone service or WiFi. Take your dope and make a hard copy range card

While I love the tree reticle, I have been put off by the company that threatens to sue anyone else who uses their reticle to help the 2a community with the use of it. And then makes an app with their products that is more comber some to use then it needs to be. Stay away from a company that doesn’t want you to use and enjoy their products.
