Took a little bit of fiddling but that was more to do with Apple protocols and Bluetooth priorities. But once I’d clean started the watch app and phone app I was able to pick up the signal on Karoo and see my HR on the head unit. Initial reading was zero but that was just a small lag that was quickly updated. Thanks!
Does not work with my wahoo, no devices detected.
Unfortunately just couldn’t get it to stream to the Wahoo Bolt…followed all the instructions and even got it connected as a device, but no streaming data. Great idea and was really hoping it would have worked, but not for me. Going back to using my Wahoo heart strap, which connected and streamed straight away.
I have been looking for a way to use my Apple Watch with my Wahoo ELEMNT Bolt cycling computer, and unfortunately, this is not it. The instructions are fairly clear and the Wahoo added the feed, but do data streaming to it. 👎🏼
Set HealthFit to sync with Apple Health. As long as you are wearing your watch, Apple overlays the heart rate on the sync’d workout
No mention that this is £4.99 and it doesn’t work absolute con artists
Doesn’t work with Apple iPhone and Garmin 840.
I liked the sound of this and downloaded and set it up. Unfortunately it doesn’t work with the Garmin Edge 530 I have.
I just bought a Wahoo ELEMNT Bolt + Favero pedals and realized that there was no way to add heart rate to the mix, which I had previously tracked in Strava on my Apple Watch. I found this app, was skeptical, but decided to gave it a try. It was no easier or harder to pair to the Wahoo Bolt than were the pedals. I expected it to quickly empty my 2+ year old watch’s battery or the phone or both. But after a 26 mile ride it had only used 14% on the watch and I had good heart rate stats. I’ll need to make sure the watch and phone batteries are topped up before riding, but I was pleasantly surprised. I’ll probably buy a strap-on HR monitor in the future for 70+ mile rides, but for now this app delivers on its promises for $5/year. That’s pretty good value IMO.
