Since Sunday, after the app update, my hub is stuck in 'cloud' network mode, even when I'm home and connected to the same network. My device is the only one affected out of the 4 on my network. I need assistance fixing this 'cloud' issue. Thanks in advance!
Time to hire a designer and a tester who knows what they are doing. I love hubitat, great hardware, okay web interface, but absolutely horrendous mobile apps. They simply don’t work, buggy, ugly, confusing.
This app probably only makes sense to the programmers. To everyone else it’s confusing.
The HSM monitor keeps getting turned off and disappearing on this version of the mobile application now.
I enable it, it shows up for a second, if I close the app it is disabled again. Please fix this
This new app is so bad nothing works doesn’t tell you if something‘s on or off dashboards don’t load can’t remote in even though you’re paying for remote access from the app. Can’t even add new devices. I have to do everything through web browser instead. Whoever thought this was better than the old app is a moron. It looks nicer and cleaner, but that’s all it is no functionality
They need to go back to version 2.0.7. As of right now 2.0.9 is FTB. Best version to date is 2.0.7. Currently it rarely loads the favorites and notifications. Always shows unsupported with them hidden. Whatever they did from 2.0.7 to now must be completely undone. It’s getting worse and worse. Roll out 2.0.7 as 2.0.10 and start over!
Update: 2/12/15 This app is not able to reliably perform geolocation triggers. Unfortunately this matter is so important that ive given up on this app and instead am using an alexa routine. I didnt want to share my location with alexa. I wanted this app to handle my location based automations. This continued failure suggests the feature ought be removed entirely to avoid further frustration and dashed expectations. Previous review: GEOLOCATION IS BAD! it didnt work today. Everytime it doesnt work my heater runs all day long and wastes energy and money!! This app is bogus! Update: added star. geofence working two days in a row with latest update. Will add another star in a week. Update: Geofence not working today. Removed a star. 1/9/25 Update: geofence worked today. Added a star. Update: 1 star, geolocation not working today. 3 stars. It worked today.
This is my second review of this app. For context, I never write reviews. I switched to Hubitat a couple of years ago and I’m fairly happy with the hub, but this new app has caused SO MANY ISSUES. It was finally stable for a few months, but since the latest update, I cannot load dashboards. IMO The primary purpose of this app is to be able to load your dashboards and control your devices and now that functionality is completely broken for me. Thankfully, I didn’t delete the old app.
Old app stopped working, so I downloaded the new one. My notifications are broken now and the app is less intuitive. 5 days into it and I still cant find controls I’m looking for.
