Often it fails to bring back data. I does not show cancelled services so shows false information. It’s more of a hinderance than a help. Waste of space on my phone. Don’t use.

I have been using Hugo for around a year and all I can say is that in theory the idea is good but: The App doesn’t work properly, most of the time it fails to load any information if you click on a stop, if it does then it can take a while for information to load if you click on the service it shows, sometimes it includes services in this screen that never turn up Generally an awful user experience

It allows you to enter a time for a bus but won’t show you times before that time. Offers you the “later” Option but not before! Take a look at Blackpool Transport app! It’s an excellent app this is wrong in so many ways. A complete waste of time. Select a date and time then reverts back to todays date. Told me to walk to places I haven’t even allocated on the app!

The app might be ok if it was accurate. Whoever inputs the data is obviously not in the real world or just lying. Been waiting for the Keyworth connection for 20 plu minutes. First it says coming in 5 minutes and it counts down to ‘due’ 5 minutes go by then it says 15minutes. Awful

Delayed buses without a prompt, you just keep waiting at the bus stop especially on lonely roads. Prioritise the safety of passengers as well by giving updates especially when buses aren’t coming

A great concept, but it just doesn’t work! Buses don’t turn up at listed time then simply disappear from the app. So bad it’s dangerous to trust it. Avoid.

The app is lacking a lot features you would expect from a bus tracking app like seeing when the bus is going to arrive at destination you catching the bus to. The app often crashes or displays a error message. Or takes far too long to load specially when you need the information fast.

We were going to Derby from Mercia Marina Willington App informed us we had 20 minute wait 25 minutes later, no bus so checked app again which was now saying next bus wasn’t due for 58 minutes !!🤔 Assuming our bus had been cancelled we decided it was too cold at 5pm to wait another hour We had just got back to the marina when we saw the bus go sailing past😡 So why didn’t the app say we only a another 10 minutes wait ?? Why say 58 minutes It made me very cross asI was going to a special event

Half the time it doesn’t even work.1.buses will vanish off the live tracking after reaching the stop even though the bus hasn’t shown up.2.it will show how long till the bus and then suddenly change to like 10:17 instead of minutes on all the bus stops which doesn’t help when you don’t know when the bus will show up. 3.The app is so slow (would be such a great app if it worked)

I am not alone in having been standing numerous times in a shelter-less spot in challenging weather to watch Hugo count down to the supposed arrival of a bus which then disappears from the app and fails to materialise. It shows utter contempt for passengers and the government’s supposed aim of weaning the public from car usage. Trent Barton’s claim to be the ‘Really Good Bus Company’ should be examined under the Trades Description Act, as should the ‘our drivers are lovely’ claim. Some are pleasant and helpful but there are plenty who are surly, uncommunicative and whose driving skills are questionable. Trent Barton should be addressing its useless app and questionable service.
