The itinery in the app bares no resemblance to the actual itinerary. I am on the boat as I write and the app may as well be the itinerary for disneyland for all the use it is.

The app has useful content when it works, but most of the time it just cycles endlessly trying to locate the ship, draining your battery and not updating. Just delete and go to the info desk.

The app’s intro stated you can download it at home… I downloaded it on board after check-in and after connecting to the ship’s wi-fi. When I opened the app it said that to use it I had to be on board, checked in and in the ship’s wi-fi. Which I am and for two days I have tried to use the app: it us continually showing the drawing of a lighthouse and saying “looking for your ship”. Very frustrating.

We felt at home on MS Maud right from the start. Crew were fantastic, couldn’t be more helpful and friendly. The expedition teams were some helpful and encouraging to see and try new things. They really ensure you get the most out of your cruise. They also provide much of the entertainment as the cruise went on. You almost forget you are helping to do real science with the science team and on the science boat. It was also great to meet the young energetic people doing the Orca scheme. Hope to meet more on our next trip already booked on board.

Useless app as it says not connected to ships wifi, whilst actually connected!

Having downloaded the app, checked I. And registered with the ship’s wifi this app doesn’t want to work whether in or off board on the MS Richard With. Pity!!

I’ve just used this app for two weeks on the MV Roald Amundsen exploring the Alaskan inside passage. As well as a fantastic crew, food, support and excursions the app itself was flawless. The app covered all aspects of the cruise: times of meal booking, plus menu selections available to you; excursion booking, both ashore and on water; all the ships daily activities were detailed and it was a simple mater of a few presses or swipes and the information was at your fingertips as they say. For me it was a step into a slightly different world as usually I’m not so reliant on a phone. I laugh at those glued to the screen for every waking second (that could be you dear reader…) but in this instance it did everything in such an effective manner that it sat behind the scenes making your holiday just that little bit better. So a big thumbs up from this user 👍🏻👍🏻

The iPhone can’t find the ship and I’m on an expedition cruise! The app simply doesn’t work.

I am currently on MS Nordkapp on the ships Wi-Fi and the app can’t find my ship. Deleted!

Travelling in MS Polarlys on the Coastal Express round trip Voyage. The App can’t find , I now see that the information says the App only supports the expedition cruises. Surely it cannot be difficult to set this up for the Costal Express?! Come on Hurtigruten, step into the C21st. Luckily we can find out information by going to the Activity Centre, where the Expedition Team are very helpful.
