This used to work well, but it’s now dead on both my iPhone and iPad for no apparent reason.

I Love Film has been Today's App in 150 countries.
I love film will make your images look as if they were taken in the old days - with film.
Lots of care has been used when analyzing each film to match their original looks. The grain that comes with the films are real grains, scanned too perfection.
And who doesn't love the look of old film, hence the name 'I love film'.
To make you an even better photographer I have written 17 tutorials on how to improve and understand composition.
If you read through all of them, I can almost guarantee that your images will be so much better and you'll start to understand why some images that you see look beautiful.

Filters are way too harsh
The “film effect” is heavily exaggerated and unrealistic
Can change lenses on iPhone 13pro and 14pro
There is a setting to switch from one lens to another but the interface will not allow you to do this since the setting is exactly where the front facing camera notch is placed on 13 pro or 14 pro.
Good
Modify photo button never works, always have to save as a copy, meaning multiple of the same images…
Nice selection of film presets
While the selection of film presets are great. Would have given you 5 stars if I we could could save in tiff for serious photographers. Also an added grain filter would be nice. ( and yes I am aware of the dust and scratches filter)
Price & Effectiveness
This app is perfect because there’s no monthly cost or subscription, you pay once and you have everything unlocked. App works perfectly and is exactly what I needed.

Amazing re-creations of many vintage films
With every other app in the app store being another film/filter app, "I love film" stands out and above the pack for it's attention to detail and faithful recreation of many vintage films. The editing tools are great and totally sufficient, although it would be great to have a "border/frame" tool to complete the editing suite. This and RNI are the two best "film/filter" apps in the app store.

[03/27/2019] Works well. Nice photographic effects. Film emulation is pretty accurate with excellent results. Regarding subscriptions, if past paid in-app purchasers can use all functionalities without having to pay again (subscriptions), it makes me happy. (I despise Subscriptions. It's an apple racket to make more money)
