If you are used to an HP RPN calculator then this is great. I normally use an HP 28C and this is an excellent alternative with a similar key layout and and a long stack. Super.

This is a great way to carry the fabulous HP48GX around in your pocket without having to risk carrying the real calculator. Definitely not a calculator for beginners but if you love RPN and RPL, this is the one to have.

Simply superb. 1.8MB? - By comparison to today's standards of excess bulk overcome by crunching power, this tiny app is almost unbelievable. It says so much about the original which it emulates, and the developer who has made this superb modern-day copy. Thanks. P.S. This app is still going strong in 2018 and it's free - not £9.99 like the other app versions of the HP-48GX. The 2 negative reviews are a shame as they've obviously never used an HP RPN Calculator. The memory lost message comes up after a reset of the calculator and I suspect your trying to tap the YES or NO on the screen when you should be pressing the relative Function Key (A or E) directly below the Yes or No message which then will take you into using the calculator. I'm a regular user of the venerable HP48 so I love the ability to carry it with me all the time on my iPhone. The only reason why I don't give it 5 stars is because the graphic interface could be more a bit more polished.

This calculator is perhaps not suitable for those who want a conventional calculator experience. But if you want to benefit from the power of RPN and advanced scientific / engineering features, you want get much better than this. There are a huge amount of resources on line if you want to understand the HP48 series including user guides so dive right in! I used an HP48SX at university and it was a powerful tool. To have a soft version on my iPad is fantastic as I struggle to use conventional calculators that don't support RPN. I think you need to charge for this App as those who understand the power of the HP48 series would happily pay a few pounds / dollars to use it. Well done! Best App I've downloaded yet.

Loaded and had the title, Recover memory with the options to tap Yes or No, of which neither would work. Deleted

The screen was one fourth of the iPad total screen area. I deleted it seconds after I started the app.

Just remind me my uni days!! Works exactly as my old partner!!!
