IBM Cognos Analytics Reports

Good: Does work with our VPN and authentication. Demonstrates access to Enterprise Cognos, including executing reports as well as accessing saved reports. Good finger friendly UI. Not so good: still seems to be a bit buggy, with user experience inconsistent between the browser mobile interface via Safari and the iPad app. Some features only work in the app and some only work in Safari. In the app, I can only access the most recent saved version and can't access different formats for a particular report - picks PDF over HTML output versions. Bottom line: Good for demos to our business users, but not yet ready for real production use. I'm looking forward to the next update, which will hopefully address the glitches.

Funktioniert super & geht in die richtige Richtung, um digitales aktives Reporting zu ermöglichen und z.B. starre PDF oder PowerPoint Berichte abzulösen.

Offline BI Reports - sehr smart!

Die mitgelieferten Beispiele sind ja nicht schlecht, eine Verbindung zum eigenen Server bricht allerdings mit einer Apple Fehlermeldung ab, oder das Programm hängt sich auf. Ist wohl eher eine Demo, wie es werden könnte und sonst nicht zu gebrauchen.

Als Cognos-Benutzer habe ich jetzt endlich die Möglichkeit, mein iPad auch beruflich zu nutzen. Jetzt kann ich meine ActiveReports überall hin mitnehmen und auch bequem im Flieger durchgehen.
