What a waste of time. Feels like your data is being stolen. Put me off this ‘cafe’. Rip off pricing and then asked for tip. Avoid!
No thought about what the user actually needs went into this app whatsoever. Ridiculously long sign up process, who wants to set a profile picture for the app they use to order a coffee 🤣🤣. Feels like you’re signing up for a new subscription service with the email authentication and active card check. Clearly just randomly constructed with vague notions of what other apps look like. Even worse, it didn’t even work - I kept getting a blank screen and ended up ordering the cafe anyway, lol!
Rubbish, charges you money to register, do not use
Upon seeing the government scheme we decided to take advantage and have a nice lunch at Swanwick marina. We sat at our table and followed the instructions on the table to download the app. We ordered our food and the app forced us into paying without showing us the discount. We then discovered the discount had not been applied. We spoke to the manager who apologised and said the app should never have allowed us to order food. He said if we wanted our money back we would need to contact the app provider as they couldn’t refund us. Which we did. They have refused to give us our money back on the grounds that the app said we would not get the discount. IT DID NOT. Big problem here as the venue advertised and promoted the app. And admitted fault the app shouldn’t have been working. The app provider said they would only give us discount on our next visit. Well yes, we would get that anyway. So basically not giving us anything. Plus the food was average anyway. We won’t be going again nor will we be using any other of their venues. There are plenty to choose from.
