iGlide Lite

1) aeronautical updates very difficult, seems not to make connection to the database anymore 2) zoom buttons half in/out the map view 3) unstable on iPad, I stopped trying

After buying an Advanced package the App continues to mention Lite or Basic instead of Advanced. Not ok. (I regret having bought this package.) Support refuses to swap the Apps name from Lite/Basic tó Advanced. Not a good service for 129,99 Euros.

Bought iglide advanced for iPhone. (Upgraded from lite to advanced). Not possible to update from lite to advanced on iPad without paying again? Not able to change language on iPhone from German to Dutch.

I use this app a lot. Support for .gpx would be a nice addition.

Bought an in-app upgrade to iGlde advanced last year, and gave a lot of feedback to the developers. I have tested iGlide on iPod, iPhone 5 and iPad mini. On all devices the stability of the app is still far below standard with a lot of crashes. I have also seen a lot of position freezes on iPad that is receiving GPS and Flarm data via butterfly connect. This was reason for me to discontinue the use of iGlide for the time being and switch to a more reliable system.

Changing Units from Metric to English or vise versa does only updates WPT[km] to WPT[nm] and WPT[m] to WPT[ft] after a restart of the app, not immediately. Eindhoven, Volkel, de Peel CTR boundaries are far from correct and even missing, check the ICAO maps !! Eindhoven Tower frequency is incorrect must be 131.000. Glider frequencies on military fields are missing e.g Eindhoven Gliding is 122.475

Leider keine nennenswerte Updates, keine Dokumentation und keine Verbindungsmöglichkeiten mit XCVario oder andere Geräte mit NMEA Daten. 2 Sterne, weil grad gestern ein kleines Update gab. (14.07.2023)

Leider im Moment nicht zu gebrauchen, stürzt ständig beim Start auf iPhone XS Max ab

Aktuelles iGlide lite 8.2.3.0 versagt völlig. Internet Support von Garrecht ist verstummt. 🤮 Aktuelles IOS 12.5.5 auf iPad Mini2

Update: there were finally few updates since my last feedback. So my point 2 goes away. 1. I’ve purchased the lite version, then upgraded to advanced one, but still the lite version is displayed. So actually this feedback is about advanced one. 2. comment is deleted as updates are done. 3. This is actually my biggest concern. Airspace label font is not scaled down in the dense areas, annotations are overlapping, so it’s not possible to read information. Quite sensitive bug. Especially areas like Hamburg control zone. 4. I am not a competition Pilot, so I am not going to buy the pro, but would like to have a thermal-assistant as well. But for 130€ on top? Sorry, too much. 5. Otherwise works well on iPhone 7plus.
