iHealth Gluco-Smart

The hardware is terrible, I have been using this for over a year and have been adjusting my carb / sugar intake accordingly. I performed a comparison test on a new system from my doctor and the same reading was double the amount. Using ihealth I have thought was a good way of keeping track but, it has caused my diabetes to run away and potentially causing me long term harm.

This app was great until one morning it had logged me out. I have reset my password over and over and can login easily on the website but the app will not log me in. Really disappointed as I’ve invested in the ihealth equipment to use this one my phone and now I cant use it.

Great little app for use with their monitors (Bluetooth syncing) or if you don’t have their monitor you can add your figures in manually. The align monitor which uses the earphone socket worked great with my iPhone se but does not work with iPhone 8. I cannot get the align device to successfully connect via the adapter. Luckily I also have their Bluetooth monitor but I did used to like using the other one as a travel monitor.

Good app but in last release it appears to have lost the traffic light system against the glucose reading on the Apple Watch

Was a wonderful app with the glucometer but there is a new bug which causes it to crash when taking a reading already connected to iPhone via Bluetooth. Have to upload all readings after another update comes in!!!! Pity.

This App (along with the iHealth Glucose Monitor) is by far the best and easiest I have used. The wireless bluetooth connection works perfectly. The one-touch recording of insulin / medication or exercising, along with the ability to simply add a voice memo makes using the app very fast and far better than the old pen and paper system! Highly Recommended!

Bought my iHealth with blood on my finger every time I went to connect my reader to the app it crashes, when I get the app up an running again the reader shuts down. Wasted two vials doing this.

The app is easy to use and connects to the device, no problem.
