Just want to use for tracking items. But it won’t let me use without giving access to mic and camera

I’ve been using the iHere Key Finder for a few years now and it’s come in quite handy on several occasions quickly finding my keys around the house. Today I was walking home from work a roughly a 2 km {1.2 mi} trip. When I was nearly home I realised that my keys which I had when I left work weren’t on me. I panicked knowing I had keys I don’t have spares for {did I mention I live alone?} … yes, I know I should have spares!, a speedpass tag {easy access to my bank account} and a remote fob for my vehicle {expensive to replace}. I immediately checked my iHere app and it showed that it lost connection shortly after leaving work. You have any idea what that meant!? I didn’t have to continue to check and recheck each and every pocket, I didn’t have to retrace my steps staring at the ground for 2 km or go through every nook and cranny and customers service of the store I stopped at. I walked back to the spot of where my iHere lost contact and walked around until it reconnected, then hit “find”. Wouldn’t you know it, I heard it chime. I followed the chime and found my keys lying in a parking lot across the street from my work. I cannot express just how relieved I am that I had this iHere device and that I have my keys back, it’s saved me a lot of aggravation. This little device is some of the best money I’ve spent!

Very useful, but the separation alarm will not turn off and it's driving me up the wall.

I would rate this 5 stars if there was a time delay for the selfies. I don't want to be seen hold this thing in all the photos I take....

It does not work on the new iPod touch at all. Everything stopped within 5 seconds.. Way to go!

BEWARE!!! I have purchased all of their products thinking it will be awesome to upgrade my vehicle and most are defective. Very hard to configure if you can configure at all. You have to constantly change between WiFi to use dash cam and backup cam, this is not user friendly at all. 9 out of 10 times it doesn’t even connect and when it does it disconnects. Very poor customer service as you will wait days for response. When you have a bad product you will pay to ship back to them and who knows if you will ever receive a new device. I am very disappointed, I had to return a product a couple of times because it was defective.

I opened it and it isn’t charging. I left it on overnight and it’s flashing a green and red light. None of the instructions say this. TRASH!

On top of all the other reviews. My ihere is no longer charging !! I would Like a replacement with the bugs fixed!

iHere worked well at helping find lost keys. It did what it's supposed to do. I very much like that the fobs are rechargeable. IMO, that's more useful than iHere's major competitor. That competitor's fobs neither recharge nor allow you to replace its batteries, yet those fobs tend to die after one year. My two iHere fobs lasted 3 or so years before they could no longer hold a charge. That's pretty good. I plan to buy iHere's again.

Don’t usually do reviews but I am so aggravated. The first one quit holding a charge and wouldn’t work unless it was plugged in which makes it absolutely useless since you can’t take it with you when you leave the house. After weeks of poor communication they sent me a new one. It has been charging for over 24 hours and it doesn’t work. You are supposed to charge it until the red light turns green. I finally unplugged it and the light is still red and it won’t go off and the iHere does not work at all. The communication from this company is horrible. Every time I try to contact them I get their stock text that says to send a copy of the receipt and what to do for warranty issues which does me no good. I have gotten the same text over and over not to mention that some of them are in the middle of the night and wake me up. Takes them forever to respond by email. Piece of junk...
