The bookshelves are a fun way to personalize your reading interest and share your love of books with the ILIAD community. Rating books 1–10 is more valuable way of scoring one’s interest and makes the rating relevant. The best part is, since the rollout is happening real time, readers have the opportunity to influence the site’s development and value. I’m excited to see where it goes.

Finally there’s an easy to use app for book lovers! Love being able to track what I’ve read, see what friends are reading, and even track books that I’ve fallen out of step with (S/O “The Graveyard”)! Can’t wait to see what’s to come!

Iliad is super easy to use! It’s about time readers have a high quality app. Only request is that they add options to sort your books.

I’ve been using Iliad since it launched and I’m quite happy with it. I really like their ratings system, the bookshelf, and the clean, modern design. You can tell that the people working on it care about booklovers, especially those ready to move on from Goodreads. I highly recommend it.

Easy to use and fun.

The breath of relief I breathed when I entered this app…sleek interface? Intuitive navigation? Customizable wood on my bookshelf?? Check, check, CHECK. Also loooove the 10-point rating system — I’m no longer feeling the need to give every single book I read a 4/5. And entering start/end reading dates without wondering if they actually saved?? Breathtaking. Finally I can say good riddance to Goodreads and it feels amazing!!

I really like using ILIAD so far. Easy to use, and I enjoy seeing my favorite reads on my Bookshelf, or laughing at the ones I’ve sent to the Graveyard. I’m looking forward to seeing what ILIAD recommends me to read next, and checking out my friends’ book reviews too. The app helps me feel more engaged in what I’m reading, which holds me more accountable if I’m in a reading slump. Very much Letterboxd meets Goodreads meets BookTok in the best way!
