It’s Like Buying a Barbie and Being Told Her Clothes Are Sold Separately

bigfatdoc55 on

When the Barbie fashion figure is sold on TV, they’re careful to mention if certain aspects of what is sold (say, her condo-grade dream house) are sold separately. Does anybody at Apple check these things? The FDA checks Barbie’s shoes to make sure they don’t choke kids and mandates a disclaimer if they are poison to ages below three. The guy in Steve Jobs’ chair should make sure apps are adverted accurately. As it turns out, this is a new and “improved” version of an app I purchased previously, the “improvements” being that adjustments were sold separately like Barbie gear. The ad said that you could get all the added features for just $1.99 - the ad forgot to say the magic word “each.” Minus one star. Minus another star for an apparent inability to save to photo roll or the file of your choice. Without a built-in save button that works, I have to MacGyver a save. At least this isn’t a BOPE (Buy Once Pay Evermore) app where you pay the guy so much a month for the app to work.

New update just ruined this app

The new update made it so that most of the original options now have to be paid for.

Promise of a panoply of photo effects

. . . then disappointment of purchase. Color effects are almost non operational. . . because developer didn’t care to make this user friendly. Hopes dashed. Time, money wasted. . . did NOT make my day.

Image save rotated 180 degrees

ChasStillman on

The invert color filter works fine, but the image gets saved rotated upside down. I must use Photos editor to rotate right side up. Please fix that!

Disappointment

Ruralchickknits on

I particularly needed to ‘sharpen’ my images. In the version I just downloaded not all the choices show up, including sharpen.
