With iMorsix, HB9CWA, Ludwig and his team have created an electronic Morse Code training tool for the ILT-Schule – the Swiss school for amateur radio.
iMorsix is the app which is sure to help you learn and/or improve your CW skills.

The base version of iMorse contains, among other things, the following functions:
• Basic CW Course in 10 lessons
■ Shuffle function for the Basic CW Course to avoid the fatal “memory effect” which arises through repetitive text passages
■ “Free keying exercise” for initial training to get your own feeling for keying.
Here, iMorsix decodes the Morse Code characters you enter with the iambic dot and iambic dash buttons on the screen.
With the optional ComCab-2 communication cable (available from ILT), you can connect a hand key or iambic paddle to your iOS device.
iMorsix can be customised with enhancement modules called InApps:
■ Various text passage libraries: A total of more than 19,000 words are available in practice text passages, plain text passages, QSO texts, Q codes and abbreviations – including characters and words which are difficult to receive in Morse Code.
■ The Shuffle function creates an endless series of new sentences from this overall vocabulary.
■ Randomiser functions create words from random characters with different levels of difficulty.
■ To improve receiving, you have the option of turning on sources of QRM interference such as hissing, tones, external Morse Code characters as well as fluctuations in volume, speed and pitch.
■ Special characters such as umlauts, parentheses, “ch” and so on are used when you switch them on.
■ Various learning modes are augmented with the ultimate tool, the QSO Academy. Here, iMorsix serves as a virtual QSO partner so you can simulate real-world normal QSOs or contest QSOs.
■ You can connect a hand key or an iambic paddle with mechanical contacts using the ComCab-2/3 adapter cable or over bluetooth with the new BlueCab-1.

Mag ja sein, das die Sache funktioniert. Aber wenb man sich die Preisliste ansieht, bleibt nur der Eindruck, dass da jemand seine Einkünfte optimieren möchte. Oder knapp westfälisch: Abzocke Schade um das investierte Geld. Es ging um einen Morsekurs in einem garnicht so kleinen OV und eine Empfehlung zum Selbstlernen. Die kann ich nicht geben. Schade, aber die Anwendung hat auf meinem Telefon keinen Platz.

Zu teuer!

Man muss für jede Erweiterung extra zahlen. Im Grundpreis kann man nicht mal die Geschwindigkeit ändern. Für mich ist das Abzocke!

Optimal zum erlernen oder verbessern der Fähigkeiten zur Morsetelegrafie

Die App ist sehr gut für alle, die die edle Kunst des Morsens erlernen oder vergessene Künste auffrischen und verbessern wollen. Das nagelneue Kabel für Bluetooth funktioniert ebenfalls auf Anhieb. Die Macher antworten auf Fragen nach meiner Erfahrung umgehend und kompetent. Also in jeder Beziehung empfehlenswert!!! 73 de Uwe DL3BJ

Sehr empfehlenswert!

Ich kann diese App jedem ernsthaft an CW Interessierten ohne Einschränkung empfehlen. Habe damit innerhalb von vier Monaten das Morsen erlernt. Besonders hilfreich ist die Shuffle-Funktion, die den Memory-Effekt verhindert. Das optionale Kabel funktioniert leider zurzeit nur am iPhone 4s bis 6 mit IOS 8 und höher. Das hat laut Hersteller technische Gründe, ein neues Kabel ist in Arbeit. Im Zweifel beim Hersteller anfragen, der bei mir sehr schnell und zuvorkommend geantwortet hat.

Totalschrott

Eine Morse-App, die zu allererst den Lautsprecher abschaltet, ist eben Totalschrott. Geladen, gelacht, gelöscht.

gute Idee, aber ...

- separates Kabel sehr teuer - funktioniert nicht mit elektronischen Keyern - Erkennt Tastendrücke trotz mehrfacher Kalibrierung nicht zuverlässig - UI sieht aus wie 1987 - alle wesentlichen Funktionen kosten extra Fazit: Nachbessern oder Open Source machen, dass andere nachbessern können, denn die Idee ist sehr gut!!

Finger weg ! Hohe Kosten in In App kãufen !

Alle weiteren Funktionen muss man je Bereich zusātzlich für knapp 4 Euro zukaufen. Finger weg es gibt andere gute Apps für weniger Geld.

Ich muss mich berichtigen das Programm läuft jetzt super hatte am Paddel wohl nicht den richtigen Stecker und ein zu hohen Übergangswiderstand jetzt ist alles gut und es gibt 5 Sterne für das tolle Programm kann mich nur endschuldigen für die schlechte Bewertung 73 de Jörg DF/XO

Super App! Kaufempfehlung!

Perfekt

Super, habe gerade das Kabel erhalten. Morsetraining mobil, egal ob mit oder ohne Taste. Ich werde jetzt öfters im Büro und am Esstisch üben. Ich empfehle App und Kabel wärmstens weiter!!!
