Indian Railway Train Enquiry

I just want to check the status of my train, but I can not even click on the numerous ads that keep popping up. Extremely well-executed pop-up advertisements. Even failing to support its primary goal.

Total nightmare, keep getting instructions how to obtain it. But no help, still can’t verify my mobile number after two weeks of to & fro emails !

Can’t register as they say my mobile is invalid even though it’s been working. No numbers to call are working. No way to book a ticket without it.

Can’t book tickets cos +91 is default. Can’t change it to my code to enter my mobile number.

Trying to check live train status on this app is quite frustrating!

I’m from England and I find the train service in India excellent value and a great way to see the countryside. I found the sign posting for which carriage and which seat easy to find. I travelled from Guwahati to Siliguri yesterday and I’m travelling to Darjeeling tomorrow on the Toy train.

My refund is not Initiated yet it’s been 10 days after tickets were canceled . This is the following message which I got On 21 June 2020 but till today no money is refunded On this app there is no option for cancellation , had to do long process , had to email directly to irctc mail and then after long process tickets got cancelled . And now no Refund PNR 8253840418 ticket cancelled, Amt 4,550 will be refunded in your a/c with in 3-4 days. Please check your account/instrument from which this tkt was booked.-IRCTC

Sadly impossible to register with IRailways as a code is never sent to your designated mobile phone.

The most tedious app experience ever! You would hope better with India being an IT Hun etc. It’s hard to retrieve your forgotten passwords, you can’t store an itinerary to work later, the payments go via third party vendor (confirm TKT)...it’s really bad!

Took money 4 times from our account and then I called and was told that my account had been suspended. They did not tell me why. Apparently because I was using foreign credit card. Very annoyed.
