The app glitches and jumps between accounts when logging in to activate or deactivate alarm. Often confirming activation of alarm, but finding out it was left off all night. App does not seem to sync with reality on regular basis. Not very reassuring!

Never sends push notifications when the alarm is set off! Have tried having this fixed multiple times, it works for a day then doesn’t work anymore. Waste of time!

Absolutely auful software works when it wants to and seems to have issues every other day. I have been in the security and communications industry for over 30 years and think this software has multiple bugs.

This app is not connecting. We have been trying to connect for 8 hours. Rubbish app.

Using the app it can be painfully slow to connect to the unit. This morning it took10 minutes to Vinny to the App. There must be faster options around.

I’ve came across many apps but this is the worst app by far. I should have read the reviews before I bought this.. First of all it takes forever just to connect and sometimes it doesn’t even connect. It also has such an old interface that takes me back to 10 years back in time. No matter how good the alarms system is, but if the app functions doesn’t work in this day and age, then its just pieces of expensive junk. I hope you guys can fix the connection issue to start!

It used to be that you were able to connect directly to your alarm when on the same network. Paradox now require that you use their cloud service and pay a subscription to do exactly the same thing. Shameful. Will be replacing my alarm controller ASAP with something from another company that doesn’t follow Paradox’s greedy business practices. Do not recommend that you invest in a Paradox alarm at all. When you open the application you are told that you need to create a Swann server site and that this will require an annual fee. You are also advised that you need to upgrade the software on your alarm and that you are then unable to downgrade. What they don’t tell you is that upgrading also disables access through a web browser!! Whilst you are able to add a site in the app with a static IP, once you try to connect and enter your user code you get an error saying that the app is unable to connect to Swann. Download the app yourself and see that they now require you to use their service to connect to your alarm (which also requires an annual subscription) when you used to be able to connect directly for free… Welcome developer feedback. Will you restore access that used to be provided free of charge or continue to require an annual subscription to access previously free features?
