The iOrnament Crafter is an app that allows you to create transformations and deformations of geometric patterns. Not only does it come with a huge collection of gorgeous patterns, but you can also import seamless ornamental art from the iOrnament App, or, with an in-app purchase, import your own photos! The Crafter lets you create new artwork from these images in various ways:
Build 3D Models:
– create ornamental platonic solids
– experience kinematic kaleidocycles
– give them a unique touch by your own artwork
Create videos and animated gifs:
– use artwork or photos to create moving spirals
– create mesmerising infinity loop videos
– export as animated gifs or videos
Explore kaleidoscopes:
– put your art in a kaleidoskope

– experience Eschers world of circle limits
Mathematical transformations:

Bought the in app purchase so that I could use save to giff, video, add text. None of it works. What up?

Worth EVERY penny !!!
I purchased iOrnament quite a while ago and then I sort of stumbled onto this app. WOW ! I was AMAZED at the selection of presets so I decided to purchase the full version and I’m having so much fun with it ! Seriously after working hard sometimes you just need something both beautiful and fun to play with (get your minds out of the gutter lol!) and this gem is it. I would definitely recommend it!
iOrnament's Fabulous Companion
If you like making kaleidoscopes like I do, you will love this app. Kaleidoscopes are just the tip of the iceberg, trust me! I felt like a professional artist within minutes of using this app! Everything I try looks awesome!
Can’t restore purchase
When pressing the “restore purchase button“, instead of restoring the purchase, the app offers me to make the purchase again.
Meticulously and cleverly engineered app
I love the cohesiveness of this app and the iOrnament app. It works best with the iOrnament Pro as it switches back to the pro version if it’s installed on the device. I have both versions of iOrnament on my devices. I have been using them interchangeably. I’m more accustomed to the older version. The text on the interface of the newer version is harder for me to read. But now I have a new problem: I am unable to save files or videos, since I have upgraded the iOS software to 16.1. So that needs to be resolved hopefully very soon. The best I’m able to do is to make screenshots of the 3D shape layouts. I haven’t tried printing them directly yet. I’ve been taking files to a copy shop for laser prints.
Unable to stop/freeze frame so image can be used as art work.
This is very frustrating - no instructions - unable to stop animation so I can use frozen frame in art work. Without this feature, the application is useless.
Great companion app to IOrnament
There is so much within this great app! I especially loved kaleidoscopes! The printing option is also wonderful!
