iplant - Plant identifier

Very accurate for recognising flowers and fruits,, Not very accurate in identifying leaves and trees plants with arboreal growth forms , example it does not seem to recognise durian trees . Nonetheless Thanks to the developers for creating this app! It is really accurate in the identification of flower types and most herbaceous plants

Tried to identify three different (common) plants in my house using the app and the results were: “houseplant”, (ok, technically true, not exactly helpful though) “artificial flower”, (the plant didnt even have real flowers) and “pots & planters” (photo was a shrub) And yes the photos were in focus and well lit.

Very useful app.. I give five stars..

Before the return of the result of the first task, a tricky designed window pops out asking for a rating, no “until later” option available. Highly inaccurate results including “houseplants”, “trees”, “hemp”. Not recommended.

The apps is user-friendly and able to distinguish the plants and flowers effectively!

it gives the best quality info and ans scan

This is my first try of the app and it identified the plant as ‘water lily’ and it is wrong.

Photo needs to be quite big.
