This rating and review is not a reflection of the gym or staff because I love Iron Tribe. It is strictly about the app. I loved the old app. The only thing it really needed added was the benchmark features or being able to see PR’s you’ve set. I have yet to reach any PR’s with the new app so that feature has yet to be seen in use on my end. What I loved about the old app that is not present in the new one is being able to see the ENTIRE classes scores. You used to be able to click on a class, see everyone who is registered, and click on different class times (even classes that had already finished) and see the entire class scores or at least who attended for that time. Now once the class is over there is no way to view anyone’s scores unless you are friends with them. And even if you are friends with them, if you click on the scores to view the workout, like you could in the old version, nothing happens. Before you could click on a friends score and the workout would pop up to view. Also, in the new app, it doesn’t show your past workouts at all if the coaches don’t put your score in. So it shows up as nothing. This new app seems incomplete since the features that I mentioned did not transfer over. I hope the developers can bring this back in a future update. Regardless I need the app to signup so it’s not as if I’m going to stop using it.
Having been a D1 athlete decades ago and having fallen out of shape, Andy and the staff at Iron Tribe Fitness East Cobb were just what I needed. The gave great instruction and motivation to start my journey back to getting in shape and improving my fitness.
You can’t see who RX’d in your class unless you go to filters.
Awesome happen user-friendly!
Awesome features that allow you to keep track of PRs, old scores, named workouts, etc. Plus you can follow members from all the tribes, and compare your score to all ITF gyms, your area gyms or an individual one!’
I’m all about Iron Tribe so I’ll use the app regardless, but this interface is riddled with little annoyances. - Sometimes you tap on something on the home page and nothing happens - you can’t swipe from the left side of the screen to go back to the previous page like every other app you use, you have to use the back button - there’s no animation when you twirl open a workout (like push or power), so it’s quite disorienting and I thought I was on a new page when I was still on the homepage. - the tap zones for the buttons are too small. I end up trying 2-3 times to tap buttons before it registers. - so many others Hopefully these are addressed in the future!
