I gave it 5 stars but today when I try to check my status it keeps saying that I am entering my information incorrectly. The SAME information that has worked to give me updates for the last few weeks that I have been checking.

Your automated system just leads you in circles and you wait for more than the estimated wait time just to be transferred in circles, no one has an answer you guys are a joke. Actual clowns running the system, imagine being told your answer is right in front of you just to be told sorry we are unable to help you at this time and get hung up on by the government. Clowns, your automated system does nothing and the people working there are fed up with idiots so alls they do is ignore people all day that don’t need to make a payment.

The app is garbage and it doesn’t work, the phone service is garbage and they don’t answer the USA is garbage in general, the only thing the IRS is good for is taking ur $, what a pathetic excuse for a country we are

This app doesn’t work the way it should. It just puts you to the website so there is no point in even using it. Utterly useless. IRS scammers take my hard earned money anyway, why we still allow them to theft our money is despicable and I want it to stop. 😡

Love the idea of having an app, but it’s way too limited. Almost makes it pointless if you’re going to need to go to the actual site to gather more info. It should have a way to check your accounts, balances, refunds, and any other important information.

The death occurs while waiting on hold.

The app only lets you use the ID.me occasionally. Please update the app so we don’t have to consistently enter personal information online.

Does the app function? Sure, but what good is that when the app's contents are so utterly inept that it shouldn't even exist? I tried retrieving my refund information, which is now two months overdue, via their browser. No luck there. I called, only to receive the same useless information. Both online and over the phone, I was directed to this app. So, I downloaded it, hoping to get more information on my late refund. What did I find? Absolutely nothing of value. Useless information telling me to wait longer. I can't get ahold of anyone. For all I know, they've lost my return, but this app is so pointless, I can't even verify that. This app is a complete waste of time.

You should be able to look up refunds up to 10 years on this app
