WiFi won’t stay connected to iPhone or iPad to watch video playback

I just got this camera and found it easy to upload pictures to my phone. Wanted an updated phone for trip I’m taking soon. Pictures look good too!

Works great so far.

All the reviews say it is terrible but once you connect it it works great

The nightmare app makes the camera worthless. Bad business! Nice camera and unstable non functional app. The app freezes the camera while trying to connect to WiFi and you have to remove the battery of the camera just to get unstuck! I have tried this app on ios iPhone and on android google pixel phone through the play store. Same problems both devices and both operating systems. It is the app. I am computer and programming literate. Are they trying to destroy this camera business? It looks like it- and they are doing an excellent job! Nasty. Will they ever fix it? Looks like never as they have had these same complaints for YEARS!!!

Please fix this app, this camera has so much potential, but this is what makes it breaks the purchase right here. The bad app! Please fix it!

I simply scanned for devices on my phone to WiFi and put in the code 1234567890 then went to iSmart DV app and touched “add new camera” to connect. I was able to take high quality photos and videos with camera in back yard while inside office controlling with app on phone. I could see the live video and transfer it to my phone wirelessly after I watched it. When I went into settings I put it on highest resolution with EIS (electronic image stabilization). Ready for some action on my trip :)

I’ve tried many times to add camera. I deleted app and downloaded several times. I connected and disconnected to wifi connection. And still nothing works. I can’t get the camera added to the app. I got a message saying to send log because there was a problem with the app and to quit the app. I won’t be able to use camera through the app.
