I was meeting a russian friend so I downloaded this app. I was charged 16 pounds in total and I only used this app once. Downloading the app was the worst decision that I have ever done. Never again
This app is utterly useless after some updates. And it can’t even translate anymore.
Although this looked like it might be useful, after going through the palaver of T&Cs and agreeing, it appears that the ‘free trial’ consists of a week after which it automatically rolls over to subscription. As I only need to use this when I am abroad, a subscription would be a waste of money and I am likely to forget to unsubscribe (which I suspect is what the developer is hoping for) A flat purchase or a fairer subscription system would work for me but not this. It also should be clearer upfront what the terms are.
While I’ve tried this, my only use for it is now finished - English (UK) to Maltese and even if I was still wanting it for that, unfortunately Malta isn’t included for the spoken version so I’m afraid I’ve cancelled my subscription.
Had the app for almost 10 years, started off fantastic but now half the features are behind weekly paywall and even worse since updating the app will no longer even translate, not sure if it’s a bug or just again a paid feature. Very disappointing

Since your update, one day ago, the app will not open! It was supposed to fix bugs etc… think not!

Used to be the best app when everything was free but after they changed it to be more pricey now its just like google translate.
