I’m in Sydney , and talking to a guy in Sydney , we were having usual normal conversation. And suddenly he said that he used location app and found out im in HongKong ? And he texted me in a rude way -(e.g. I don’t want you). Well If someone claims they used a location app to determine your actual location without your consent, it could be a violation of your privacy. Good that I think my iPhone is protecting me from this kind of boring harmful weirdo.

It’s suss that Perry Street Software bought Jack’d, an app catering to POC users who are excluded from white spaces, when they are responsible for Scruff which promotes white masculine ideals and is unfriendly to POCs. They could have made Scruff more inclusive but it seems like they are intent on creating a racial divide within the queer community.

After the latest update, icon won’t change.

I received notification from a friend that I was being impersonated by someone on this App. Having downloaded the app, created a temporary profile and located the impersonation I reported the offending profile. Nothing happened. To cut to the point this is not the first time I’ve been subjected to threatening behaviour by this particular individual and I’ve now had to leave home because I fear for my safety. All this after repeated requests for help from Jack’d support. I’ve not been able to sleep and Jack’d support is just ignoring me. This is a dangerous App run by people who claim to care about safety but fail to take action when required. In my case Jack’d is actively and knowingly allowing online abuse which is causing me extreme anxiety and potentially putting me in harms way.

Overall the apps is great, I have no issues using the apps. there a few from before which I mean only paid customer can use, which before the free mode still can use.

One of the worst dating apps. It’s super buggy. My account has been suspended twice for a stupid reason that I am less than 18 when I am already 35 years old 🙄. Can’t resume my chats. I wouldn’t download this app, you are better off with tinder, hinge or even bumble.

To many restrictions. I stopped using this ages ago due to restriction the app has.

User base is small and of one dominant ethnicity.

This app is now been overtaken by scammers. Very obvious scammers who I have reported are still on here trying to rip people off. I have reported them a few time. Others on this app have reported them too. But they are still here What’s up with that. Does Jack’d get a cut from the scammers It’s time to move on from this type of app full of scammers
