Amazingly useful
Incredibly useful if you’re learning Japanese. A lot of cool features and would be great if it was more popular as it deserves it. Hope it doesn’t go away with Apple’s new BS rule for app updating!
Maybe look at a more distinguishing name if you would like it to be easier to find/popularise? (If you’re still working on it)
I know of it and just searching Japanese on app stores makes it be pretty low in search results. The first time I was recommended the app years ago I had to scroll for quite a bit before the app showed up. The logo is what made it easy to find among all the apps with “Japanese” in it. But if the name would be more unique It should help text wise as well
Grozav! Great!
Excelenta aplicatie nu doar pentru cei care vor sa invete japoneza.
Excellent app not just for those who want to learn japanese. Looking forward to a ipad version :D
Great!
Great, great, great!
My favorite dictionary app that I’ve ever used
I’ve downloaded a lot of dictionary apps for many different languages, and this one has been my favorite by far. The thing this app does better than others is a no ads, and a lack of friction with the search function.
Press the search button at the bottom left to start looking up a word. If you want to look up another word, instead of having to move your finger all the way up to the top and delete the word, you can tap the search button again and it will clear the word automatically and let you start typing with no other input. It is a small thing, but if you have to search dozens of words in a row it’s so helpful. I wish other dictionary apps had this feature.
The Best App I’ve Ever Bought
I’ve been trying to learn JP for a while now, and this app has been helping me immensely. I go on it regularly! Daily! It’s amazing and has everything! Definetky my favorite app to learn Japanese!
Amazing app, good for studying but speak feature is broken
Only giving 4 stars because the “speak” feature on the app is broken. I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong but I’ve tried adjusting my volume and turning my ringer on and off so I can only assume the “speak” feature doesn’t work. Otherwise great app, love the ease of access and use of flash cards
noice
One of the best if not the best JP-EN dictionary app. Glad that I found such a great dictionary.
Lovely app with one Nuisance
Thus far the app has done what it’s description has described. It’s very effective for finding new words, and looking up old one’s. It also keeps track of how often you study words, and makes saving noteworthy words easy. The example sentences are well written and add a lot of context.
My one complaint currently is that the text to speech isn’t working in the app. Which is very odd and unexpected.
Great Dictionary
I have been using this app for a long time. Its extremely helpful and easy to use and look up words. I also use it to practice and save words for later. The only problem is lack of updates and the sound (speak) stopped working. If this gets fixed it would be a godsend.
Amazing and really free
A lot of apps say that they are free but overwhelm you with ads, but not this one. The search window is open immediately, and offers several ways to search for the Kanji you're looking for. This app has single-handedly made learning Japanese so much easier. The lists feature is so easy to use, unique to this app, and truly makes learning JPN a breeze.
