I cannot for the life of me figure out how to switch these off. Googled and no joy. For the LOVE of God please make it easier to switch these off.

how can this possibly be an alternative when you are required to use a google or, github, or whatever account to sign in? makes no sense.

I like using this on the desktop, however, this mobile app is a bit rubbish. Seems to struggle a lot more with bandwidth issues than it does on the desktop/browser version. Used this app for a meeting last night and it decided that I couldn’t speak to my team (I wasn’t muted) then I tried using the low bandwidth mode and it still wouldn’t send my audio to the others even though it turned everyone’s video off for me.

Does what it needs to do! Worked well for me :)

Seriously, Chrome i Edge? The most spying browsers!? Where is Firefox, Opera?

Works ok, but doesn’t do everything I need it to, like provide closed captioning.

The app keeps breaking off and then eventually frozen.

No audio in browser, phone, computer. Audio output works on my devices, but not with this app. Fiddling in the settings didn’t resolve anything.

The one thing Jitsi used to have, was its appeal to the privacy conscious. Collecting more data is not a good way of retaining the growing anti-Zoom crowd. Come on Jitsi, update your profile in the AppStore, we want it to say “No data collected”.

Hard to get his approval but it just worked for quick test. Hard to get his approval!
