This app is great except for 2 things 1) there should be a read more on the my stories page You can only read the full thing on the my happy/rougher times things and I think we should see it on the my stories page 2) app tends to background refresh and it deletes all your writing This one is annoying but I've gotten used to it after about a week. But still this app is very cool and I like it ‼️‼️
Punkt. is a wonderful app for short form journaling. Using Punkt. is delightfully simple & short. An easy to use interface with emoji categories & location tagging are its strengths. Highly recommended for anyone who wishes for a quick, simple & small journaling app.
Incredibly responsive developer whenever something goes awry. I love this app, I love the reminder to reflect on my day. Very helpful to pair with therapy sessions, and helps me be more mindful about each day.
I highly recommend this journaling app — it’s an approachable, brilliant little cherry to the end of a day. Any day. Intuitive, smartly simple, and succinct: that is what makes this stick to my routine. I’ve been using it for 2+ years. My hands got tired from gripping a pen, and I eventually outgrew paper journaling and started note taking on my phone. After finding this app I never looked elsewhere. The fun bits are the custom emojis and data analysis for a deeper insight into my time. Some thoughts for future features: Exploring summaries: a way to show graphs over a longer length of time to see trajectory over months, years would be helpful — similar to how iOS maps your step count over time and shows bar graph data A way to display images not just in the background of an entry, but be able to highlight a few photos from this day. Thanks so much for this app, it’s a life and time saver!
Just want to say, this a great app for simply logging what’s going on in your day to day and keeping track of things too! I do wish there was a way to add multiple photos or even videos that would be neat. Also is there a way to delete entries?? Besides that it’s definitely my fav journaling app out here!
Less > more. Clean experience/ minor upgrades like saving a draft and letting the user keep a template would be useful but overall I use it almost daily vs forgetting I downloaded it (like I have with other productivity / journaling apps etc)
The app store has a bug that won’t let me update my review following the developer’s response. So I’m leaving this five star review for being acknowledged, and for the fact that I’m getting a lot from this app. Thanks, Gregor!
I loved this so much! I was looking through this subreddit for a way to read all the App Store’s featured stories and stumbled upon your post. This app is absolutely perfect and I’ve only been using it for about three minutes. I love that there is no subscription if you pay the one time fee! I will definitely come back to donate more to the development of this app when I have the chance. Just a suggestion - would love an option to add multiple videos and photos to the story. For the functionality, the user can swipe up to scroll through the videos or photos then swipe left or right to go to the next story.
Sometimes after I wake up I’ll write for the day, and then later I’ll find out it didn’t save it, this would be ok if it didn’t take away my streak it’s upsetting to see it go back down to 1 after 135 days but oh well
