This app has provided a convenient way for me to do daily journaling for my different interests. I have daily templates, weekly templates, and yearly templates. I also like the different options I can put on a journal page: questions, checklists, banners, etc. It’s not perfect but it’s good enough for a free resource.
In was very tired of habit tracker and journal apps that are over-stuffed and over-constraining. This app is elegant, simple, and makes it very easy to journalthe things you actually care about. Thank you for making it!
This was the most useful app I ever bought for productivity. as for my suggestion: - I pay a reasonable premium to have the ability to star a section of the journals to be displayed on a downloadable vertical document with dates. - having a family option could really push your mission to groups that can create systems of accountability for each other. Also, thanks for making this app. Nothing out there even comes close!
I've only been using this app for a week or so, but already it's been pretty amazing. Here are a few things I love about it: - I can make templates, but better yet while I'm filling one out, I can edit it and it updates the template I'm currently using live vs having to flip back and forth between tweaking my template and adding my entry (very easy to build your templates as you journal) - Backup (on free) - Simple interface that stays out of your way - No ads or anything like that in your way - You can add images to build a good memory - You can tell the author probably uses it themselves (very high quality) - Export as PDF (paid) is why I would pay for it (backup and portability if the app goes under is very important) Here are some things I think need improvement: - Sometimes export (as image) doesn't work (but I'm gonna pay for PDF) - The skinny view is annoying, go full width - When answering questions return should start a new answer - Allow questions to be numbered somehow - Sometimes when live editing a template the text screws up the UI (favorite feature though) - When adding an image let me take a picture (vs having to switch to camera app) But how templates work alone in this app and that it's such high quality alone give this app a place on my home screen.
I loved it for being totally customizable so I bought the premium, but the journals on my iPhone do not appear on my iPad.
This app is very simple and effective. I love how customizable everything is. It is missing a few basic features of other common journaling apps, but the customization aspect makes this app stand out above others. The developer also responds very quickly to feedback and seems to have a lot of good ideas in the works. I can’t wait to see how this app evolves, although I will say it is already very useful.
