It’s fun, but…
I’ve been playing this game for quite some time and I’m at level 3670 or so. I’m one of the players who can’t afford to or doesn’t want to pay to play. I’m sure they make plenty of money off of me from the ad revenue. Need more time? Watch an ad. Completed a level? Watch an ad. Want rewards for completing that level? Watch an ad. Oh, you want to play the next level? You guessed it… watch an ad. I actually timed it for about an hour and I spent 41 minutes watching ads. But none of that is why I just removed the game from my phone. I’ve been trying to complete the Christmas event where you had to collect something like 140 cards. The first few days, of course, I got lots of cards. The next week or so, I still got a few cards. But by the last week of the event, I pretty much never got new cards. Seems you had to pay to buy the card packs if you really wanted to complete the set and get the bonuses. Well, I played a couple of hours ago and it said there was 1 day and a handful of hours to complete ALL the Christmas stuff but when I logged back in shortly after midnight, they had ended the Christmas specials/events/challenges. Not the first time they’ve ended something a day or so early, but for me it’s the last. There are plenty of other games out there that seem to be satisfied with getting the revenue for the ads and that let you complete holiday or special events/challenges.
