Amazing Coding App
JSBox is a great JavaScript and NodeJS coding app. It also allows you to create widgets, safari extensions, editor plugins, share sheet actions and custom keyboards so it is feature packed. Definitely worth checking out if your interested in coding. A feature request would be access to the Share Sheet in the code editor next to the Settings icon on the lower tool bar to share the current script. This would allow other apps to process the code etc. Also you can use Plugins for text selected in the code editor which is great as you can make your own tools but it would be great to have the regular Share… option also. The support for Apple Shortcuts is great and this is an advantage over other apps which don’t always offer this feature. To further enhance the Shortcuts options a suggestion would be that they could allow console logging and could be enhanced to have some more Actions available: Set Widgets (Change the current selection of widgets and sizes) Refresh Widget(s) (Update and refresh the running widgets) Set Keyboard Script Create Script (Make and save a script in a chosen category via input text) Get/Set/Rename Script (Edit scripts text without actually running them) Get Categories/Script List (Get the scripts and directories available) Get/Set Snippet (Get or set the snippets text) Get Available Modules Install Modules Console Options There are some other features which are useful to process like code prettify and linting which could be added also though technically scripts could be made for this. This is a great app that deserves a lot more attention as a coding tool, looking forward to further updates.
