Idk how the app works but asking user 30 questions which takes like 10 minutes and then not showing the program without subscribing for $40/month trial is very ugly dark ux pattern. Don’t treat people like this
It should show the subscription price from the beginning.
This is the best strength training program I have ever tried.
This is an exceptionally well done app. Especially if you like numbers and data, you will love this.
I like this app because it’s like having a personal trainer but designed to target multiple wants as far as body goals
Disappointing. I wish there was a free 7 day trial. After initially getting it, I realized immediately it wasn’t what I wanted. I reached out to their customer support for a refund but they weren’t able to. Out $35. I can see the app’s merit for those who are into competitive lifting, hence the reason I’m not giving it 1 star. Cool how it adjusts to your progress. It’s simply not what I need though and was a pain to learn how to use. Gave up after using it a couple of times.
I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was an exception. Typically, I either use a subscription or cancel if it doesn’t meet my needs, and I’ve always been able to receive refunds when requested in a timely manner. So when I saw this app offering a two-week free trial, I felt confident giving it a shot. Unfortunately, this time was different. I downloaded the app in the morning, hoping it would help coach me for an upcoming cycling event. While the app seemed well-designed and geared toward a specific niche, I quickly realized it wasn’t what I was looking for. Within a day, I canceled the subscription and uninstalled the app. Initially, the charge was pending on my credit card, which made sense since I thought it was part of the free trial process. However, several days later, I noticed the charge had been finalized, and my subscription was set to end on October 7th, despite my cancellation. I figured it was a simple mistake, so I reported the issue to Apple and requested a refund. A couple of days later, my request was denied with a generic response: “Your purchase doesn’t meet the conditions for a refund.” Confused, I appealed, explaining the situation in detail. The response came back the same, but this time they said the decision was final. What frustrates me most is the lack of transparency. Apple provided no clear explanation of what “conditions” I supposedly didn’t meet. How can I avoid this issue in the future if I don’t know what went wrong? This experience has seriously made me rethink using the App Store. In the future, I’ll likely sign up for services directly with merchants to have more control and better customer service if any issues arise.
This is by far, the best strength training app available😃!
Doesn’t save every workout and PREVENTS YOU FROM CONTINUING. I had to go back and record 5 workouts from memory bc it did not save. On top of that the workouts recommended are a joke. If you’re a real lifter don’t waste your money
