Jumbline 2+ for iPad

Even though I’ve only selected the British English dictionary, it only permits the US spelling of words such as valour and rigour. However it is at least consistent and challenging.

Brilliant, addictive game and very enjoyable!

Highly addictive & enjoyable- but very basic- so words are the same & not harder or more challenging as you up levels. Also does not recognise certain words that are definitely words in the UK - it maybe because they are using American resources. Finally & most irritating for me is the use of scientific nouns -

It's good. Very frustrating that it uses some abbreviations but not others and some obscure words whilst rejecting other more basic ones. Being English I find it irritating that only American spellings and dictionary are acceptable. Why not both? These are the reasons why only four stars and not five.

I play this every day. It keeps me thinking.

As with most comments the only problem is all the American spelling and words, some I've never heard of, would like an English version.

Don't waste your time on the free version buy this one. Been using the free one for some time but since the last iOS update it's been running slow and freezing. Nearly deleted it and gave up, it's just so frustrating. Replaced it with the paid version. Much, much, much better. I've been blaming Apple but I suspect the game slows to give the ads their paid running time.
