One can easily fact check these people and debunk some of their political assertions. Google is your friend people.
Seemed like a cool idea. Ended up being heavily right leaning. Interesting interpretation of the word “facts” in the title.
The questions are generally straightforward, but the “correct” answers are often not the scientific consensus. Rather, the app uses one or two studies to justify the answer as being “correct.” There is no mention of other studies that contradict the study cited by the app. There’s not even any mention of the methodologies or the limitations of the studies cited. There’s nothing scientific or unbiased about this app. It’s obvious that the authors have a strong right-wing American bias. THERE’S NOTHING WRONG WITH HAVING A CONSERVATIVE BIAS, but it’s intrinsically dishonest to frame complicated issues as having straightforward answers by using cherry-picked data to justify an ideology. Utter rubbish.
No issues found. Operates as it should. Very informed information. A true eye opener. You must be prepared to turn of any bias to enjoy. I am a fierce Independent, and find this the most logical and substantiated presentation of facts available online. A must for anyone who wants the truth.
But that doesn’t bother me. It just means I need to find facts. However, the app leaves much to be desired. Just in case, I’m going to delete it and reinstall. If that clears what I deem to be multiple bugs, I’ll return here and update this review. If not - I’ll delete the app and ignore temptation to try it again until there’s a recent update. If there is no interest in their own app, I’m not interested. I do appreciate learning and how well their figures are documented.
This site used NY Times to fact check an issue. You cannot use a bias media source to fact check. That defeats the whole purpose of fact checking. This site lost credibility with me when I saw that. So disappointing.
I thought the app would provide newsworthy information like the web site, but it’s only a survey tool. The surveys and information are interesting and temporally relevant, but not what I expected.
This asks the same questions every day. Always the same, even if you get them correct. The next day, the same questions again
I’ve used many “Fact Check” sites and found them all biased. This site, although won’t match your agenda, regardless of affiliation, will open your eyes. If you aren’t open minded, this is not the app for you. I will encourage my students to use this site.
