Kana - Hiragana and Katakana

Yeah, self-explanatory. I just wish I didn’t have to keep re-opening the app for no reason.

I have been using the app for a while and pretty confident with hirigana and mostly there with katakana. My only issue is that any type of smart quiz I do only shows me hirigana and not katakana unless I put the quiz amount to more than the amount of hirigana characters. It works with the custom quiz but I’d prefer to study the ones I get wrong more so than those I have a high streak on. Please fix this

Its a perfect app for me. Ive been trying to learn hiragana for quite a long time now but i just could never remember how to write the kana but this app came to rescue. It flew down from the heavens and looked at me with ethearal beauty and gave me a hand. absolutely recommend if you are trying to learn Japanese🙏

I want to reach out to the developer but I can’t access the X (formerly Twitter) app that it directs me too maybe an email would work better. The app has been great and I’ve loved learning the basics of Kana. However now I’m at 115 questions (know where near all of the Hiragana) I have found the app crashing half way through my practise sessions and today it has happened 5 times. It’s just really annoying when your doing well and it crashes! It has done it a few times before but has increased the more I am including in my sessions. I’m not sure if it is due to the drawing aspect as it always seems to crash when i drawing the characters I have checked to make sure my app is up to date and it is. Please reach out to me if you need any more information as I’d love to carry on with this app and move into Kanji when I’ve learnt Hiragana and Katakana.

I was wondering if a basic flash card app where I would write my own hiragana in was going to be the solution to my learning struggles. Then I found this app, which does everything I wanted and more, it keeps so many stats!! The pronunciation for each could be a little more useful as it sounds like it’s a robot voice, but the positives are so much stronger that it is an easy 5*. I was able to do loads of customisable things such as a quiz, which are not locked behind paywalls like other apps, thank you devs 🙏

homestly im a total beginner when it comes to japanese and this app is incredibly helpful in teaching me the basics for hiragana and katakana especially since I keep forgetting some of the characters. The reminders are also really helpful in helping me build a consistent routine for learning japanese.

no paywalls, simple and effective ui, explains well for beginners. has made me learn most of katakana in ~3 days having never learnt another language before. i don't normally write reviews but the developers of this deserve it
