Kaptioned: Automatic Subtitles

It just doesn’t recognize text and 90% of the sentences have to be rewritten. It takes less time to write the entirety of the text myself.

I took a monthly subscription but after loading to 100% for multiple times, it gets stuck. Tried on 2 phones, paid again the second time because I need the video now. Very disappointed :(

I spend 30 min doing the translation by my self bc the self- translation from the app was terrible. And I pay $3 to have the video with out water mark, and the video and audio quality is terrible when I downloaded . do not buy

I was charged for a year membership of this app but it still promos me to pay again after any job I complete. Worst part is customer service will not get back to me. I have submitted 3 help requests now. Bummed

This app has potential, but falls short in so many ways that I regret my hasty decision to pay for a year’s subscription before fully testing it! Some of my many problems with this app include: weird choices of caption breaks, misspelled words, weird incorrect identifications of sentences, and the difficulties of editing short caption bars because it automatically is in play mode and sometimes it’s difficult to stop before you passed the caption bar. I just tested. 15 minutes in Kaptioned versus 10 minutes doing it myself in InShot. I paid for a time saver, and got an app that takes more time to do it right. To top it off, there are no features found in other similar apps such as dynamic captions.

The transcription was spot on but if i can’t then use the video how is that a success? Pls give the steps or issue a refund.
