When you pay to offset your carbon footprint through Karai, your money is invested in projects including renewable energy schemes and afforestation programmes. These projects are verified and accredited by world-leading carbon registries such as The Gold Standard (WWF), Verified Carbon Standard (VCS), and The United Nations.
Among the projects we support are UK-based charities such as Plant a Tree Foundation and Ribble Rivers Trust, as well as international projects such as Eden Reforestation, Madre de Dios REDD+, and Brazilian Amazon REDD.
