App allows me to unlock my doors and let my guests into the property

It generally does what it says it’s supposed to. Can access my apartment’s front entrance, gym, and my apartment itself using the app. Occasionally have had some issues with the videocom, but that seems to have gotten better.

This app is garbage. Works ok but there is little to NO customer service and support for tech issues. App has been down for 8 days and no answers. Fail.

My complex upgraded to kastle but our front pedestrian gate never works in the rain because kastle can’t figure that out. The whole company is a useless scam. Complexes and property managers, don’t sign up for kastle! They’re too stupid to figure out how to make a gate work in the rain.

Barely works. Video calls hang up after a few seconds, the door locator has tremendous difficulty locating which door you’re at, no way to disable video without a nag screen any time you switch to the app, there’s no search on the door list, etc etc. This is just the tip of the iceberg. I dunno how a company like Kastle hasn’t fixed their own flagship app. It has under two stars lol All the responses to other reviews have been “use our help and support link”. Unfortunately Kastle, app reviews are where you get your judgement. Redirecting people to your own awful website in 2024 is not going to fix this. You need to start from scratch with your app and invest some time and money in it

I don’t know why but this app keeps crashing on my iPhone and works on my Android. It’s so weird because I’ve logged in and my background refresh and location is on, so I’m unsure why this app just does not open. My iPhone is my primary phone and if I can’t use it on this then I don’t understand the point of it. There’s no troubleshooting options or anything. From the reviews, it feels like no one else has gone through that issue but it’s a pretty big one for me because my fob doesn’t work either!!!! I’m trapped.

This app is completely and utterly worthless. Please report the app to Apple.

I am a new user and have no Kastle records yet it won’t let me sign into the app for the first time. Says my email doesn’t match records. No other options. Getting this new system will not be fun.

I saw some people say that the app won’t allow them in. I can’t even get to the step of registering my apartment in the app cause it keeps crashing. Also will have to have a word with my apartment complex why they are using an app for entry that has less than a 2 star rating. Fix up!

This malfunctioning system was installed at Park Labrea, a community of 10,000+ residents, and it’s been a perpetual nightmare… leaving residents and their guests locked out of their own buildings, and making it impossible for delivery people (Amazon, FedEx, UPS, etc.), because the front-door monitor and keypads are perpetually broken… And nobody ever comes to service them… The fobs consistently don’t work, and the app is beyond useless – in fact, for most people like myself, it won’t even launch… It crashes immediately… A blemish and embarrassment… Park Labrea’s own patrol service offered this solution: just leave all the front doors open!… Yep, that’s what passes for security around here, god help us …
