Too many ads. Radar not updating

While not terrible, the app is slow, at times, and periodically logs the user out without warning.

The past 6 months the whole app and especially the radar map function is very glitchly. I have to close the app multiple times before it starts to work correctly. The radar often doesn’t show up or when it does it flashes on and off quickly making it difficult to use. I use the app all the time, but I’m tired of the app not working correctly. I’m using the Weather Channel app until they fix the issues!

More accurate than Our local radar!

I have adjusted the alert settings in the app on all of our devices, to allow for only severe thunderstorm, tornado & flooding alerts. We continue to be awakened at all hours of the night by non-severe weather updates and “cooler weather for today”, type alerts. I’ve seen several comments stating that “this app can save lives”, but that only works if you don’t annoy people into turning off their alerts, phone, or altogether deleting the app as we will be doing now.

There are too many commercials. You send an emergency weather update, but you have to see the ad first. Crazy. I will keep using a better service.

I like the app, the notifications, and the ease of access to updated weather video discussion. I do miss being able to easily find the weather commentary/summary text that used to be at the bottom. One now has to click around to find it amongst the links at the bottom. It would be nice to get a basic summary of the day without having to watch an advertisement and video or poke around to find it, like it was for years. My suggestion/request is to put the text summary back on the main page at the bottom. :-) And to be honest, I find I skip most videos because of the forced advertisements on every single video. Otherwise keep up the great work!

The previous app that disappeared from my phone and forced me to download this one was much more concise and much better.

The app is actually pretty good I’ve used it for several years but this is were I’m going to sound like a hypocrite I do enjoy being able to get alerts relevant to my location but this is where I’m taking issue my phone informed me that the app had tracked my location 178 times over a 3 day period and to emphasize this let’s say hypothetically Texas was under water and the beacons are a path I could walk from my home to college station without getting my feet wet

I enjoy using the app for local weather forecasts - probably the most accurate for my area. The only issue I’ve found with the app is that in every single video that is posted with sound (many are not), the audio breaks up and you can’t hear what the forecasters are saying. The sound gets choppy at points and you just miss what they are saying. I’ve stopped watching the videos because it gets frustrating. Probably need to look into a new microphone or sound card.
