The KEBA eMobility App is the digital service for KeContact P30 & P40 users (P40, P30 x-series, company car wallbox, PV EDITION and P30 c-series). The App allows you to communicate with, manage and configure a charging station. This gives you full control over your wallbox.
What the KEBA eMobility App can do:
- Communicate with your wallbox via remote access from anywhere (communication with KeContact P30 c-series still takes place via the local network).
- Find out the current status of your wallbox: Is it charging? Is it ready to charge? Is it offline? Or is there an error?
- Check your charging process by starting and stopping the current charging process - with just one click.
- By setting the maximum charging power, you have full control over the current power consumption of your vehicle and therefore the charging time.
- You can track all details and real-time data (time, energy, power, amperage, etc.) of the current charging process directly in the App and view past charging sessions in the history.
- You can call up all the data on your previous energy consumption in the statistics area.
- The setup guide in the App helps you to find out whether your wallbox has the right requirements to use it with the App. If so, it will help you connect and set up your wallbox for the first time until it is ready to use.
- The installer mode helps you step by step to configure, set up and connect your P40 Wallbox for the first time.
- Charging processes can be started and stopped automatically at predefined times and with predefined maximum charging power using power profiles. (Setting via the KEBA eMobility Portal and only for P40, P30 x-series, company car wallboxes and PV EDITION).
- Always keep your wallbox up to date with the latest software using the App by activating automatic updates (not for KeContact P30 c-series models in stand-alone operation).
- As a user of the x-series, use all configurations in the App that you already know from the web-interface (only for KeContact P30 x-series models).
The following KEBA wallboxes are app-compatible:
- KeContact P40, P40 Pro, P30 x-series, company car wallbox, PV EDITION
- KeContact P30 c-series (no need to update your c-series firmware to use the App)
Charging stations operated by Charge Point Operators may not be suitable for using the App. This is definitely the case if you do not have the web-interface password or serial number.
If the KEBA eMobility App is connected to a KeContact P30 c-series, not all functions are fully available compared to using an x-series. You can find an overview of the various functions for each series at www.keba.com/emobility-app.

Important for electrical installers:
- The DIP switch settings on the P30 wallbox must still be made manually.
- Configurations that are already known from the P30 web interface can also be made via the App.
- For the KeContact P30 c-series, DIP switch settings must be made in order to activate the full UDP communication functionality (this is also described in the setup guide).
- The basic settings of the KeContact P40 can be made via the KEBA eMobility App or alternatively directly on the device itself.

Keine Katastrophe - Updates haben mein Problem gelöst

Die Rezession muss ich mittlerweile korrigieren. Nachdem ich alle Updates durchgeführt habe, läuft die App sehr zuverlässig. Leider kommt es in der Kommunikation meines EMS und der Wallbox ab und zu zu Unterbrechungen beim Überschussladen und dem Start durch die App aber dies ist ein Luxusproblem und verhindert eine 5-Sterne-Wertung.

Diese App ist wirklich eine Katastrophe. Schon die erste Einrichtung stellt einen vor größte Herausforderungen, da die App die Wallbox nicht findet oder der Setup Guide abbricht. Hat man es dann geschafft, dann läuft es ein paar Minuten rund. Danach kommen nur noch Fehlermeldungen am laufenden Band, so dass kein Zugriff auf die Wallbox möglich ist. Leider zieht diese app das sonst sehr gute Produkt runter. Wenn man kein anderes System hat in das man die Wallbox einbinden kann, wäre das für mich ein Kaufkriterium gegen Keba. Ich selbst konnte es in mein EMS einbinden, so dass ich mit der Wallbox selbst zufrieden bin.
App lässt sich nach Update nicht mehr verbinden
Generell eine super App… wenn sie funktioniert. Seit einigen Wochen ist die Verbindung zur Wallbox nicht mehr in Ordnung. Die verbundene Wallbox zeigt beim Aufrufen immer wieder den Fehler „Es ist etwas schiefgelaufen“. Der Versuch die Wallbox in der App zu trennen und erneut zu verbinden führte nicht zum Ziel. Der Anmeldeversuch wird mit der Nachricht „Falsches Passwort“ quittiert, obwohl das Passwort richtig ist. Alle alten Passwörter und das Standardpasswort funktionieren ebenfalls nicht. Ich weiß nicht weiter und so bleibt mir wohl aktuell nur das WebUi. Schade, da ich jetzt gerade die Auswertungsmöglichkeiten aus dem E-Mobility Portal nutzen wollen würde.
Tipps wie das Löschen der API Token oder das Aktualisieren der Firmware (habe über das WebUi auf 1.17.2 upgedated) führen leider nicht zum Erfolg. Das Laden funktioniert einwandfrei und auch das WebUI ist problemlos erreichbar. Nur die App Verbindung funktioniert einfach gar nicht mehr.
Die Wallbox ist eine P30 x-series und ist über WLAN mit dem Heimnetz verbunden. Sollte es entwicklerseitig einen Tipp geben, oder das Problem bekannt sein, würde ich mich sehr über Hilfe freuen.
Einfach nur schlecht
Auch das erneute Update brachte keine Verbesserung. Vom Support, wenn man macht Tagen mal eine Antwort bekommt, wird man immer auf das nächste Update vertröstet oder bekommt sinnlose Hinweise (nein ich schraube nicht an der Elektrik rum, so wie mir empfohlen wurde)
Fakt ist: die App zeigt keine Ladesitzungen an, im Mobilityportal taucht die Wallbox nicht auf und die angezeigte Ladeleistung stimmt nicht mit dem Output überein.
Ich kann nur empfehlen sich eine andere Wallbox zu kaufen. So werde ich das jetzt auch tun.
Verbesserungswürdig
Auch bei dem neuesten Update kann ich immer noch nicht die Netzwerkeinstellungen meiner P30 in der App einstellen.
Leider geht es auch nicht im Portal. Diese Inkonsistenz ist leider verwirrend.
Hoffe das sich bei Updates auch noch um die 30er gekümmert wird.
nur noch mit Onlinekonto
Am Anfang funktionierte die App daheim oder über VPN völlig stressfrei. Mittlerweile muß man zwangsweise seine Wallbox ins Internet hängen und sich ein Konto bei KEBA anlegen.
Wofür der Zwang?
Was hat ein Onlinekonto für Vorteile (per VPN kam man vorher schon drauf), das die massiven Nachteile (Hackbarkeit, Datenreichtum bei Keba und/oder dem jeweiligen Clouddienstleister) auch nur halbwegs ausgleichen?
Wir haben sehr viele Keba P30 verbaut, weil eben die (End-)Nutzer ohne Wartungsverträge oder Produktschulungen an Handbücher, Firmwareupdates und API-Beschreibungen kommen. Scheinbar will man bei KEBA aber nun auch eine Lock-IN Cloud betreiben um spätee mal richtig Reibach (umstellung auf Kostenpflichtiges Cloudmodell) oder Elektroschrott (Einstellung des unrentablen Clouddienstes) zu machen...
Noch immer schlecht
Auch nach mehr als einem Jahr das schlechteste was ich je an Apps aber auch Ladestationen benutzt habe. Hier bekommt man wenig für viel Geld. Nicht einmal die Sprache kann nach unzähligen Versuchen geändert werden. Was sich der Hersteller dabei denkt bleibt mir ein Rätsel.
Katastrophe
Die Keba Wallbox funktioniert nicht, wie es sein soll. Der Support ist die reinste Katastrophe. Es kann kein geholfen werden. Finger weg von dieser Wallbox.
Top App
Für meine zwecke (über LTE Laden aktivieren/ Laden deaktivieren) ist die App genau das richtige. Hatte mit dem Support schon einmal Kontakt, und mein Problem konnte gelöst werden. Seit dieser Zeit funktioniert die App tadellos.

Der letzte Schrott
Es ist einfach ein Riesen Armutszeugnis so eine App auszuliefern. Jeden Monat habe ich Schwierigkeiten das Programm zu starten die Verbindung des Ellen lang. Ständig gibt es Fehlermeldung. Wann wird das endlich mal professionell umgesetzt?!!
