It’s 1967, I’m cruising down Saginaw Street in my ‘64 Corvair, girl friend at my side, and the radio blasting the best music ever recorded. Yes, I’m biased. The Keener app is a match for Star Trek’s transporter—the days when AM ruled and music wasn’t pigeonholed by genre. What a time! Thanks Keener. I’m still looking for a request you can’t find. You’re the best!

A must-have radio / music app with a wonderful 24/7 livestream - celebrating WKNR/Keener 13, Detroit’s legendary Top 40 radio station. Huge music library AND they take requests (and play them promptly). A great soundtrack to your day!

This app, and it’s related website Keener13.net, really bring to life my memories of one of the fondest aspects of growing up in Detroit in the 1960s and 70s. WKNR occupies a special place in the hearts of those who listened to Top 40 radio in those days. A tip of the Tigers ball cap to Scott Westerman for his creation and 20+ years of nurturing the Keener13 website, and now this handy app!
