This company is the worst, you can’t get hold of them and we tried to call locally and they don’t answer. The audio was in French and we needed it in English. They told viator that we didn’t buy the audio, even though I sent them a picture of the tour we bought. They are totally awful.
This tour guide was free with our visitor ticket. Aviator ticket got us in without any hassle. Started the app on my iPhone and gave location permission and the audio started automatically each time I reached a key point. Of course, it's not as good as an expensive guide but we were more than happy with the experience.
This site sells you a ticket , then the day before the visit to the Acropolis it sends you a time to enter. DOES NOT, WORK after waiting in line with ticket you are refused at entrance and need to go back in the ticket line. A total waste of time and frustration with the Mickey Mouse operation It’s my time you wasted and enjoy my money bunch of robbers
We used the one about the acropolis. It worked, it gave us information, but had two real downsides. First, the tour didn’t focus on much of the architectural information, like it tells you very little about how anything was made which we found disappointing. Secondly and more disappointingly, the geolocation didn’t work well. The tags are often bunched up in one area, and sometimes in the wrong area. So for long stretches you’ll have nothing to listen to, then you’ll make it to a site and one audio clip will start, and if you move around at all another audio clip will start without you knowing it, so you may miss information. It became distracting, as you have to keep one eye on your phone constantly. Annoyingly, the “playing” interface isn’t well designed. The little playing bar at the bottom of the screen never shows you what clip you’re listening too, you have to do some clicking around to discover what clip you’re actually listening too. It’ll look like you’re listening to the same clip but in fact a new one has started. So, I’d give the whole experience a “meh”. Too bad. Wish we’d just gone with a guide.
