Khaya

Translate Ghanaian Languages

Veröffentlicht von: Algorine Research

Beschreibung

Khaya was the first translation app for Ghanaian languages relying on Artificial Intelligence (AI). It has since expanded to other African languages, such as Nigerian Yoruba, as well as Kenyan Kikuyu, Kimeru & Luo.
It also now includes Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) capabilities for Twi, Ewe, Yoruba, Ga, Dagbani & Yoruba - speak directly to your phone and the app will transcribe your speech into text!
The app also can now do pronunciations (Text-to-Speech) for Twi, Ewe & Kikuyu. This capability is currently only available to the premium subscribers of the mobile app.
Please note that noise in your environment and quality of your mic can all affect ASR transcription quality.
If you find the app useful and would like to see it grow and improve, kindly purchase a subscription to support our research. This will give you access to the audio pronunciation feature (TTS) languages where it is available (see above), as well as an ad-free experience. Thank you for your support!
Subscriptions auto-renew at end of designated corresponding period unless turned off at least 24 hours before in your iTunes account page.
The underlying algorithms are various neural network architectures, built jointly by the Algorine Research and Ghana NLP teams.
If you encounter service outages, please report them using our developer website, or any of our social media handles!
